As the guy, I generally find it my job to see what the girl likes. For instance, a girl I went out with in high school loved to make out in a way that a friend described as "like in a f*cking porno movie" while another girl kiss like I'd break her face if we applied too much force. Going from the first one to the second took a second to get used to, but I did. Of course if you're not an idiot a change such as that should only take a second to notice. Must be different attitudes in different schools/areas, 'cos although a one year gap was nothing in my schoola two year gap was massive and really quite weird. Especially the lads who'd left (it always seemed to be older lads) coming to the school at home time to see their girlfriends who were in year 10 or even nine. Me and my friends would always talk to one of our mates who was going out with a year nine girl while in year 11 saying that after he'd finished college, she'd only just be leaving school, a massive difference especially considering everyone i know from my year has matured/changed massively over the last 6 months since leaving school.
