[IV|REL] Simple Trainer for GTAIV

When i copy the trainer 3 or 3.5 and the ASI LOADER and EFC20 ERROR FIX to GTA folder and try to start game confused.gif it comes up with a error and cant load game. If i then delete the files and try, then the game runs...

So, you sure it works on 1030GTA4?

Of course, did you notice how many views this thread has ?

Surely if it doesn't work on 1.0.3 there would be far more complaints, don't you think.

Without any detailled error messages and contents of asilog.log and scripthook.txt, I can only guess to what the reason would be.

btw, i see that Home is used in the trainer.ini file... no matter how i try lol it wont let me edit the .ini and remove the Home key.

Got any advice on that?

Oh, and i had to use XLiveLess instead of the asi loader... biggrin.gif

Good that it worked, it should however also work with alexander's asi loader or yaasil (the one I'm using).

Regarding the home key, by default I don't bind to the home key, so I'm not sure where you have found that, home is used for the live interface, so it would be pretty strange to bind the home key, and in fact it was never binded, in all trainer versions before and including 3.5.

Of course home is in trainer ini, all keys are in there, as it's just a list to see all the virtual key codes.

Thanks, nice update. Is there a way to lower the Moving-Speed of spawned items?

greetz

Not currently, but version 3.6 will give you that ability, also I added a gravity gun to that version.

At last, a gravity gun, that's what we are longing for.

Link deleted. It is prohibited to advertise for that site, even though it is indirect. Besides, we don't allow Multiplayer mods or video's about that. -- Dutchy3010

Nope, mine only works on peds and vehicles, not objects.

I have no idea how to access objects that I didn't spawn myself and " the competition" isn't sharing smile.gif

It's a trainer remember, I kind of like the gravity gun as it is now.

Sjaak327's software is beyond ANY competition. It is not only vastly superior to any other mod ever to have been released for this game, but also features functions so hard to code that no other programmer here except Aru could even attempt at implementing them. If you believe the value of this Trainer equals the value of a minor feature designed by people banned from gtaforums.com, you'll be also surprised by the fact your post is against the forum rules.

Simple suggestion, flying cars could be a great addition to this trainer, and if possible floating cars to go on the water like in GTA Vice City if I can remember.

@ Dodge34: These are two different problems. In order to fly with your car, you can use airbreak or the speed-up feature. It's simply about changing your coordinates or increasing velocity. These features are already incuded in the trainer.

The situation is entirely different with water. The reason is that in order for the car to float, there must be some interaction between the vehicle and water surface. This interaction can only be changed in handling.dat. This file, however, cannot be modified on-the-fly after it is loaded to RAM when the game starts. So it is highly unlikely that you will ever see it in a trainer. But don't worry, I've heard handling.dat has already been successfully modified to allow car-ships, so you'll be sailing in your car very soon. wink.gif

Of course I'm assuming you don't want to turn your car into the Annihilator Helicopter 'cause in that case modifying handling.dat would also be inevitable.

One thing more I'd like from this trainer (it has soo much already!)

the applicable shortcuts should be put next to the function in the in-game menu (more to the right of it) so if you see one you'd like to use a lot you can just reference the default shortcut key to the right of it.

@ Dojomann: This feature was actually suggested some time ago but the main concern was that it would cause too much clutter in the menu. As you mentioned, the trainer has lots of functions so that would be a serious issue. Personally, I wouldn't want that.

I've seen some videos on youtube with people flying their cars in GTA4 except they were not exactly able to turn left or right, it was possible in GTASA via a cheat or option with the Control Center and I liked this option so much. Hope to see a mod for that cause every video on youtube link to gtaforums in a thread that has so many pages its impossible to understand, it seems we need to mod the main files of the game to do this and I guess the game is protected against file modifications.

Yeah this has been suggested before, however, since I'm running out of space for some menus I have decided to use an additional colum on some menus (for now the object menu). So indeed I like the suggestion, but it's all about space and access to options.

I still managed to get the shortcuts on two pages in the readme, print it out and use it as a reference.

peds and bodyguards have the same melee issue as with special god mode

but health 500 is a bit low for drivers they die quickly

and a driver on a bike is dead after the first crash cause their driving style for bikes is suicidal

so is it possible to set god mode for drivers

and also possible to make them fly choppers

Yep, will add godmode for drivers.

Not sure about helicopters, I saw some native for that, but not sure if I can make it work.

Actually, how about this for the shortcuts: a new menu item "Shortcuts", which could bring up the list of hotkeys?

Also, not sure if this is a trainer bug or GTA IV bug, but I used the teleport to next valid destination marker cheat to teleport from Niko's chair to Goldberg (so that Niko was standing on top of Goldberg), and was then unable to move (Niko just walked in place). I could teleport to various places, but Niko would still just walk in place. Even after spawning and exiting a vehicle he was still immobile. The only way I finally got him unstuck was to drive into the water and then exit the vehicle.

small thought but there are times that bodyguards tend to fall far behind and not be able to find you... is it possible to add a teleport all bodyguards to player function?

Actually if you teleport yourself or press " on the keyboard sometimes they'll spawn right back next to you.

How can i set the color that the car i spawn for myself will be? I mean, to set my own colors for the color i can change by doing CTRL+4-9

I mean, if i want it in some kind of orange and with stripes or stuff...

In the car color menu, which is located at Car options Menu, second page.

i would like some hovering too,but i'm not sure it it would require to code some surface detection that would wouldn't recognise difference between water and soil. but i think making some plane simulation could be of simple, we would control force with w/s and basically it shouldn't be complicated to make it something like previous GTA planes or flying cheats.

Outoftimer is basically right, but it still is a trainer, even the car shop mod is more trainer than a real mod that would have a point(i'd say taxi and VIP missions are what fits a cathegory of mods).

No...

I mean to set my own colors and stripes like in trainer.ini or somewhere that when i will click Ctrl=4-9 I will have the exactly thing i wanted.

That's actually a good idea smile.gif

I will do that, will add customisable color entries for those keys in trainer.ini, I will default them to what they are now, but you can set all the 4 colors on each of those key combinations.

How about this then:

for applicable commands right after they're activated, below the "Something Enabled/Disabled" line at the bottom of the screen put, "Next time, use *shortcut* for faster access"

Not a lot of clutter on the screen, and it only shows right after you've used it from the menu.

Would this be possible to implement?

EDIT: Also one more thing (I know, I'm being demanding) but could we have the font for the menu stuff be outlined in black? Depending on what the camera is looking at the text is invisible against the sky sometimes.
