[IV|REL] Simple Trainer for GTAIV

Hey there folks!

 

I have a curious question to ask. I got GTA IV on steam, along with BTLC mod (DeLorean mod) custom strippers and prostitutes in nude, installed the "Hot Coffee" mod, and recently the simple native trainer. So I have a bodyguard a a stripper (DAMN HOTZ!) so I execute the hot coffee animation with my bodyguard and afterwards, she leaves and not come back. I have looked around to see how I can keep the bodyguard from running away, I enable the options to Flee player but still not sure :/

 

anyone help please?

It' a 6 year old mod,the author is focused on V now.

Does anyone ever succeed in adding more slots for the "Added Vehicles" section? Since I've tried to add 15 more slots than the default one (60 slots) and the trainer won't load the extra 15 slots.

Xliveless works fine, but the real problem is Script Hook for GTA IV is dead, and it will probably stay that way since no source code was released.

This isn't what needs updating, it's ScriptHook, just like with GTA V. However since the developer has gone AWOL and there is no source code, the only option is to downgrade.

 

It will be quite a while before we are able to use SNT on the latest patch.

Also, I have script hook, but it seems the mod is not compatible with the latest update

For this to work on the latest GTAIV patch, scripthook.dll needs to be updated. The only option to run this is to get back to 1.0.7.0

Ok, this is for Steam versions of the game at least. I just reinstalled W10 the other night & set Steam to dld games.. Well I just then noticed GTA IV has been apparently updated since. I HAD my games originally set NOT to update automatically and I haven't opened Steam in a long time but apparently there is no such option in Steam anymore so it looks like now you're forced to update, it just gives diff options on updating like "UPDATE this game BEFORE others" etc instead of "DO NOT automatically update"...

 

So I guess it will update @ some point IF you run Steam and don't have a way to block it or just pause it or something Idk.. What I do know is, nothing was working w/ the new GTAIV.exe except OpenIV. SparkIV wouldn't, asi loader/trainer wouldn't. So I Googled for "Download GTA IV patch 1.0.7", its like ~104MB. I ran the "Update Title" file and it put my game BACK to 1.0.7 patch as the "Play" screen for SC returned to what it used to be. I ran the game "LaunchGTAIV.exe" directly as I always did and NOT through Steam and the game launched, trainer worked etc...

As said a few posts up, I don't need to do anything, the scripthook.dll needs to be updated, and I am not the one that developed that.

 

If you want to run the trainer, you either get Aru to update the hook, or downgrade to 1.0.7.0 and 1.1.2.0

Wow such a bummer. So we have to wait until scripthook gets updated? Is the scripthook different from the GTA V one? Since it was updated for the newest GTA V patch back in Dec last year

In all honesty, the Simple Trainer was probably the only asi script that I used on GTA IV. I'd use ScriptHookDotNet occasionally, but avoided it due to the rain indoors bug.

In all honesty, the Simple Trainer was probably the only ASI script that I used on GTA IV. I'd use ScriptHookDotNet occasionally, but avoided it due to the rain indoors bug.

 

This might be good idea, as the ScriptHookIV C++ probably cannot be updated at all due to several issues (which probably are enough reasons it to maybe remains incompatible with the latest IV's / EFLC' patches in an obsolete state):

1. Author is NO LONGER available (disappeared / vanished completely since more than an year now) and cannot be contacted for permission his plug-in to be updated by other modders here, so appears updating this VITAL plug-in simply CANNOT be done legally in any way, therefore peoples now updated to latest IV's and EFLC' patches CANNOT have any scriptHookIV's .NET / ASI scripts working in any way in their games at all for like two months now);

2. ScriptHookIV's license denies any changes without author's permission (but, as its author is completely disappeared / vanished since 1 year and 4 months now, dunno HOW to get that permission?!?);

3. Source code for later ScriptHookIV's versions for later GTA IV's patches aren't made available at all (but even source code for older versions publicly released appears to was hosted only on ScriptHookIV's author's site (I might be wrong here), however author's said site is gone / dead for maybe 3-4 years now, so the links provided on first ScriptHookIV C++'s page for source code hosted there are now dead rendering it inaccessible;

4. There are still no enough good SCO script editors as I'm aware, OpenIV's team stated they cannot offer anything for now. There are SCO trainers made that are running without ScriptHook, but the main issue is they appears to be made ONLY for Multiplayer (it's strangely there's still total lack of any SCO trainers for Singleplayer made, dunno why?!?);

5. Another major issue with this dead ScriptHookIV plug-in is it's tendency to crash the game during loading screen upon loading new game or a savegame if player have in SNT many togglealbe option enabled by default (like 9-10 or more) or many .NET mods (like 3-4 or more) are active, as appears that ScriptHook cannot handle so much many script mods upon loading, as sometimes it just fails to load all those active mods by default triggering game on loading screen to just crash to desktop... Also, the even latest released ScriptHookIV for GTA IV 1.0.7.0 and GTA EFLC 1.1.2.0 is still one BETA version only (you're heard right, there's still NO any stable versions released so far)...

 

Really edited SCO script mods might be the only working alternative for having least the basic SNT functions without any working ScriptHook for those running the latest patches of GTA IV and GTA EFLC - 1.0.8.0 and 1.1.3.0 respectively (I've updated my GTA EFLC now as well), especially for those running the Steam versions of GTA IV and GTA EFLC which upon installing are updated automatically to latest patch unsupported by ScriptHookIV as I'm aware the Steam client does NOT offer any option / ability to downgrade or stay to their older patches! This means peoples owning Steam versions of IV and EFLC cannot revert (not least via the Steam client itself) back to the previous patches - IV 1.0.7.0 and EFLC 1.1.2.0 which remains the last ones compatible with the ScriptHookIV, unless those people does some manual dirty work for downgrading! This is really sadly for those peoples...

 

Only good thing is I still have IV as previous patch 1.0.7.0 as I have Criminal Russia RAGE map and SimpleNativeTrainer 6.3 installed on it, as I decided do not update my disc copy of IV because this my favourite map mod might be no longer working anymore after updating to GTA IV 1.0.8.0.

I have no background knowledge in all this, but I am a tad confused as to why a new scripthook can't be built from scratch? I can't imagine the original author beign the ONLY person on earth who has that kind of knowledge. Also, let's say it was built by anothher member here and released under a different name and uses a different vital plugin (?) but serves the same purpose, isn't that okay as well? I just am a bit confused as to why this can be deemed as such an impossible task. Many people still play GTA IV and do they just plan to accept the fact that it's possible for it to never be updated ever again and just play the game vanilla?
