[IV|REL] Simple Trainer for GTAIV

In the V trainer, would it be possible to attach an object to a player and be able to throw it? Kinda like in IV without the picking it up part.

Does this trainer let you customize the main characters' skins without having to select them in the skin selection menu first? And do we keep our weapons when changing skins?

The answer to the last question is yes. The answer to the first is no. You can only customize the current player skin. Not sure what you are implying here, but one cannot customize something that isn't there :D

 

So if you are say Michael, you go to the clothes menu and customize him, you can also load and save a customized skin. But if you want to customize say franklin, you first have to be franklin.

Will we be able to edit the weapons attachments and colors with the trainer? I mean doing everything we can do in Ammu-Nation without having to go the shop.

So if you are say Michael, you go to the clothes menu and customize him, you can also load and save a customized skin. But if you want to customize say franklin, you first have to be franklin.

 

I believe he means the current Native Trainers need to reapply the skin to have access to clothes (I.E. in ENT.. even if you are mike you need to select mike from the skin menu to chance anything) but changing skin in anyway resets your weapons and blocks access to your money

I don't get it. there should not be any reason for those mods to re-apply the skin just to customize it. Maybe I am not understanding you guys ?

 

In any case, in this one (just as the IV one) you go to the clothes menu and change all of that stuff. And if you change a skin to someone else, you don't loose anything, not your car, not your money, not your health and you retain all of your weapons and ammo, just as it's supposed to be...

 

@TheAtmosphere No, there are only 679 models to my exposal, online models are not included in that number.

 

@bigboss96 not currently. I have been looking into this, but this will need some more investigation. The applying of attachments is easy enough, but the documentation of those will take time. Therefore, they will probably not be in on initial release, which hopefully is at the end of next weekend. What would help in this case is a list of all weapons that have attachments and exactly what they are, this would help me in documenting and including those.

 

@Braindawg no idea, the main subject I am currently ignoring due to time constraints is the object stuff, including attaching stuff to peds or cars, those will come at a later stage. My goal here is to bring the complete IV trainer to V, with options that no longer make sense removed, and options that do make sense added. Due to the number of options in the IV trainer, and due to the new stuff, I had to make a decision not to include object spawning into the trainer. Yes you can spawn objects (by name or hash) but that will be pretty much it for initial release.

Yes, those guys are right. With Enhanced Native Trainer you first to re-choose/re-select-re-aplly the skin to have access to clothes :/

Well maybe you could go through 13.000 animations and sort them ?

 

I spend my time on features, not on sorting animations, If I have to do that work, you'll probably be looking at a release at the end of the year :)

 

In any case, I can give you the list, so you can sort them, okay ?

 

@honestjaye I just said at the end of next week. At least that IS the goal. I have almost finished the ped/bodyguard stuff, all that is left to do is some easy car options and a few general options.

Thanks for the reply. If you want a list of weapons with all the attachments and colors available for each one them you should check this save editor: http://x3t-infinity.com/Home.php?ID=2. It was made for the PS3/360 version of the game and there are some options that didn't work for me in the PC version. The weapon option was one of them, but the list of weapons and attachments/tints is correct. As you can see in the image below, you can select a weapon and see everything you can buy in the Ammu-Nation shop for each one of them. I hope this can help you in the documentation process.

What he needs is ID's for the native functions. I'll see if I can provide any information on those with some experimentation.

Okay, the component names are in common.rpf/data/ai/weaponcomponents.meta. You can use GIVE_WEAPON_COMPONENT_TO_PED and REMOVE_WEAPON_COMPONENT_FROM_PED where the arguments are ped, weapon, and component.

 

Tints are set with SET_PED_WEAPON_TINT_INDEX. The colorIndex argument is as follows:

0 - Normal1 - Green2 - Gold3 - Pink4 - Army5 - LSPD6 - Orange7 - Platinum

Both that information is helpful. Of course I completely forgot about weaponscomponents.xml !

 

Yet that is still not conclusive, it only removes the need to go through the game scripts to get the hashes (now I can just use get_has_key and of course it provides more descriptive names that are much better than just the hashes.

 

However I still will need to go through them to map them with the right weapon, that in itself is probably only about an hour work and since I have now adapted the trainer, I can easily get the information and include it into the trainer in such a way that the trainer will detect what attachments are available for each weapon. So this will definitely be in for initial release. I also added the colors but noticed there are natives to get number of colors and the index. This probably means not all colors work for all weapons, not sure, will check that out as well, as the option is already added to trainer.

 

That save game editor is used as second opinion in case I missed some.

Well there be unlimited fuel for the underwater torch cutter , during Monkey Business Michael is given a torch to cut a underwater grid cover and it kept running out of fuel and also during the The Bureau Raid your wearing a firemen's gear with oxygen tanks on it to has a meter line for oxygen that can run out, well these two have unlimited ability? not run out?

sjaak, a small and funny question, is it possible to be able to give the middlefinger to peds?

Fow now you can only give the finger when in car but why can't we do that if peds can give their cursed finger to you? :lol:

A lame decision by R* not to let you do that when on foot. It's a lot of fun to piss people off and if you keep doing that,

they'll come to you to kick your ass lol. Their reactions are also damn funny.

It would be cool if you could make the ped's do animations that you choose, So you could just spawn a ped or bodyguard and make it do any animation that you choose. If you already didn't put this in the trainer, it would be good for movie making!
