[IV|REL] Simple Trainer for GTAIV

Hey sjaak,

That's just awesome. Quick question, I know we're going to be able to spawn bodyguards, just wondering if we'll be able to spawn other peds and also peds that attack the player? Keep up the amazing work.

Yeah you will, that stuff simply isn't done yet.

There are three main areas which needs work, the ped area, some car options and general options. If that is done to my satisfaction, I will release.

Wait wait wait, lemme get this straight. I have the feeling the same guy who did the snt for GTAIV/EFLC is now creating the very same for GTA V? Is that correct? If so then I'm totally hyped! Couldn't "live" without the snt in EFLC. :)

I think I've never posted here but I'm checking out this thread like every single day so I just wanted to officially give my support to sjaak327 :beerhat: SNT was by far the best mod of GTA IV IMO, even better than graphic mods, it was just as basic as installing the game, couldn't imagine my experience with GTA IV/EFLC without it. It takes the game to a whole new level where you can do basically anything with it. Sure, there a bunch of trainers out there already and I'm very thankful for them and to the modders who made them but we all know this is not the same. We all know this is going to be THE trainer, and for that I express my admiration to you. Thank you, thanks for giving us the other 50% of the game that the stock version lacks of. Can't wait to test it.

If this has a clothes menu, will you be able to access the gta online clothes and masks?

No, Silent is making the SNT for GTAV. He is also the author of SilentPatch for III/VC/SA.

However. TJGM stole all of his cookies and we must retrieve all of them so Silent could continue working on SNT.

Once it's released, finally no more 100+ seperate .asi's.

Sjaak, do you also implent gravity gun? It would be fun to pick up peds/vehicles/objects and throw them in the air.

With the mouse-wheel you can adjust the distance between the victim (the picked up one, lol) and the gun.

Also a .ini settings to adjust the force.

It's been a long time since I actually checked out my GTAIV folder and therefore I don't know if that gravity gun feature was yours or from somebody else.

Well we be able to add pedestrian hairstyles to M, T & F,??? there's a awesome mohawk I'd like to use with Trevor that one of the pedestrian's has

"You don't understand! I could've had class. I could've been a contender. I could've been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am."

Can't wait to see how your trainer turns out!

However, I've never really been a big fan of the plain-text menu look...are you going to look into making a menu system similar to Blade's trainer? It's a new era of modding, and the plain-text just doesn't cut it anymore.

I disagree. I mean, Blade's trainer looks nice and all, but the amount of scrolling you'd have to do to get to or find what you're looking for if SNT used the same text size and spacing would be ridiculous. The menu's text is too big and spaced out to accommodate all the options that SNT has, especially in it's larger menus. I wouldn't be against putting a semi-transparent background rectangle and border around the menu, but I think the text size and spacing is perfect the way it is right now.

I agree, it only needs something to make it legible on any background. The text size seems fine, and anyway it doesn't use a single column of text (god knows why the other trainers stick to that), it's the whole screen :D

Old Man With No Name

For GTA V simple native trainer,

-Add Unlock Franklins Forum Drive house option into this mode. We should able to save game in here

-When we changed player model, players voice must be changed too.

-Add sit, smoke, drink etc. options

Amazing that you are creating this one for GTA V! I've been a huge fan of your trainer from the beginning.

Are you adding the speed up features for cars again like the ones in GTA IV? Like slow speed up, fast speed up and slow down. Adjustable in the .ini file.

Anyways you should be paid for making this tool!

Looks good so far. Any chance that you could release it in it's current state so we could give you better feedback? If not, when do you think the final version will be published? :)

Can we use our MP characters in singleplayer?

Or maybe a feature where we can create multiplayer characters in singleplayer then save them?

I was just about to ask :D I really want the option to play as my Online Characters in Singleplayer! If we could change their clothes it would just be perfect! But the option to just play with them is just fine! :)

As I understand it, the game actually uses your current model ID to figure out what missions/events are supposed to happen in the world. So using your custom model (or any other model except the default one), would cause problems.

For example, the original native trainer (and most clones of it) will make your game get stuck in an infinite loading loop if you die while using another model, because its trying to update the world events on death (getting wasted causes time to pass, some events only happen at certain hours of the day), and it gets confused.

That would happen with any model though, wouldn't it?

Or are you saying that it would enable the online features? Bc online features in singleplayer would be pretty cool

Yes it would happen with any model. And anyway, I'm pretty sure your online character is completely stored in the cloud (as are all the missions, hell some even have the map sections stored there, downloaded each time [like the aircraft carrier heist setup, apparently]), so actually retrieving the model (the head mainly) would be... impossible. Don't quote me on that one though, who knows what can be done...

I was actually referring to the fact that you can't really play Singleplayer with another model, just mess around outside missions.

Will you be creating a new thread for your trainer when it is complete? Keep up the great work Sjaak!

I was wonder this too, it be less confusing if the first post didn't have a link to the GTA IV and GTA V on the same post and thread eventually when SNT is released for GTA V

Regardless, being able to create a singleplayer "online player" would be really cool, and be able to own a apartment and cars, but just in singleplayer.

Totally f*cking agree. We need a real estate mod. And a car insurance one too.

Does this trainer let you customize the main characters' skins without having to select them in the skin selection menu first? And do we keep our weapons when changing skins?

In the V trainer, would it be possible to attach an object to a player and be able to throw it? Kinda like in IV without the picking it up part.

The answer to the last question is yes. The answer to the first is no. You can only customize the current player skin. Not sure what you are implying here, but one cannot customize something that isn't there :D

So if you are say Michael, you go to the clothes menu and customize him, you can also load and save a customized skin. But if you want to customize say franklin, you first have to be franklin.

Will we be able to edit the weapons attachments and colors with the trainer? I mean doing everything we can do in Ammu-Nation without having to go the shop.
