[IV|REL] Simple Trainer for GTAIV

right :)

Not sure if I want to work for R :)

Anyway, I am making fairly good progress, doing bodyguards now, then finally adding back the easy car options (the difficult ones have already been done, like mod menu and car color menu). And a few general options.

I guess somewhere next week it would be ready.

Please please tell me you've managed to get Pearlescent working! (also chrome as an extra option, as it seems to be a flag and not a color, apparently).

You're arousing a lot of hype.

If you trainer has ONLY the half of what GTAIV ST have, it will be the best available in GTAV for now.

But you ain't gonna disapoint us. I'm sure you will overcome the last one, right?

You said overcome. That makes it sound like his last trainer sucked and he's trying to fix his mistakes by making this one, lol. But you're right, Sjaak's SNT is simply the best.

hahaha it's fine, it just sounded funny. I am playing a lot of GTA Online right now, but when this gets released I'm going to forget about online for a long time.

Too bad we don't have LAN Party mode anymore.

Maybe this can be a good mod to be seen in the future. Even San Andreas got a modded LAN multiplayer.

That would have been nice. This game would have been so awesome to play on LAN with mods and stuff. But i think that the reason why games don't have LAN support anymore is piracy. People who pirate use Tunngle to play online on games that support LAN.

It won't be too bad once the multiplayer mods mature. They'll probably get infinitely more content and freedom then GTA:O ever had or will have.

Oh man I can wait to get my cursor on that baby

hell yeah!

I can't wait for this.

been trying to play with several different expanded trainers, bodyguard menus, vehicle editors, and time cycle mods together. and they're ok, but having everything combined into one slick format will be awesome.

out of all the trainers for GTA IV, Sjaak's was always the best all-in-one option.

Looks great.

sjaak327. Do you have an ETA? Today, tomorrow or sometime this week? The version in the video looks great and perhaps you could release it and continue developing onwards from then.

I am still working on it, as it lacks quite a few options I think need to be in.

I might add some stuff during the next four days, and then release it as is.

I notice the neons are bleeding light into the interior. Are you still using the old IV method of attaching light sources to the bottom of the car? Current GTA has built in neons with options for front, rear and sides.

In addition; GTAV has a built in custom car paint system. It's only usually applied via crew colors, but if you could add a paint option for custom RGB/HEX values for cars in-game that'd be awesome for replicating movie cars or real paint color codes.

Looks great! I have a couple of questions though if you don't mind answering;

1. Will you be able to save the trainer settings, so it automatically loads your settings when you restart the game?

2. Will you be able to save a car? Like, I modify a car and then save it in the trainer, then load it from a slot etc.

Keep up the awesome work! I really appreciate what you do for this community!

I'm pretty sure he's already done that.

Yeah, I don't doubt it either but I would like to get an official answer before I jump to conclusions :) I saw the video but couldn't see neither of those alternatives in the trainer. So I thought, why not ask. :D

1) currently only via ini. If I have some time left, I will make a save settings function that works like in IV, but failing time, you will need to set options in the ini.

2) yes it's not done yet, but will definitely be part of initial release.

Yes the neons is IV code, and I lack time to research whatever they do in V, it will have to do for now.

In regards to the car colors, I have replicated the LSC car color menu AND give you the ability to set custom RGB colors from an array of 455 colors that are separate from what the game uses. The save function will correctly save those to slots for later reload.

Watching the video, I have 2 minor suggestions (both regarding vehicle spawning):

• remove the appended "Spawn " in front of the vehicle names

• maybe categorize them somehow (even if the individual pages are the categories, as opposed to different submenus - a big list might get annoying to navigate after a while...); this google doc has them already sorted (use the April 30, 4:17 PM version, newer ones were deleted by random f*ckwits)

Also, I wish that video showed off the color menu... sigh...

Ok, will remove it. Should not take long, as I actually have code to add spawn programmatically :)

They are categorized by using the game defined types (planes, choppers, bikes, SUV's etc.)

But could it be possible to caregorize them like in other trainers by class? Not just one list of them, even thought they are categorized, but to have a list for every car class?

Like a submenu you mean ?

Yeah, exactly, to have for example: Car Spawning -> Bikes, Choppers, SUV's, Sedans...

and not just Car Spawning and then a list of all of them, even though they are categorized, but still we have to go through all pages if we want some car that is for example Sports Classics and is listed on page 26 for instance. I hope you understand what I mean :D

Anyways amazing work ! Love your trainers ;)
