Hey guys I have a problem. When I set the weather to rain or cloudy, or change the time of the day to night time, my game crashes. Any ideas why? Thanks.

No, doesn't do that on mine, ever. Maybe you are using another mod ?

Does the Relationship menu actually make the player like a pedestrian? (Ex. if I put the relation to Gang Biker1 I seem to become a member of the Angels of Death)

Hello, I'm having issues with the trainer in-game.

it works fine, I can do things via the hotkeys that are set, but when I bring up the in-game menu is does not work. I cant select things, I can't change what is selected, I am only able to bring up the menu and make it go away. The trainer itself works, just not the menu.

Any ideas why this is? and how I can fix it?

Press numlock ?

I've tried that, on or off (It has to be on for the hotkeys to work right) still cant scroll through the menu

I noticed that the trainer seems to be displaying the wrong number or pigeons remaining. One time I could have 50 pigeons left according to the in-game count but the trainer would say 53 pigeons left, etc.

 

My game specs:

 

Latest GTA IV Patch

Windows 7

XLiveless

The trainer doesn't display any number of pigeons remaining, these messages are from the game itself biggrin.gif

sjaak, great job on the new trainer! I have a suggestion for a small update, something that could truly change the multiplayer experience.

 

You should allow us to save all spawned peds, as well as their current task, animation and positioning on the map. A friend of mine has using your ped spawner (and all the options it gives you) to create missions within free-roam. They are very much like the missions you'd find in single player. I also create missions on occasion. However it's becoming a daunting task to constantly respawn all the peds one by one, position them, set their task, animation, model, etc etc.

 

If you could find a way so we can save these "missions" much like we save objects into objects.ini, that would be amazing. We could actually create long, challenging and intricate missions and be able to spawn them in the snap of a finger.

 

This alone would give free roam a major overhaul IMO.

Hold on... are you that guy I met that annoyed me? Trolling is not fun. You know, some people have a temper, like me. You "trollers" are making it worse for impatient people.

The game does this, I am not doing anything with animations when changing models. I guess I could somehow block them, but to be honest it doesn't really annoy me.

I'm curious if this is included in the trainer, awhile back I was watching a machinima, don't remember exactly who this video was made by. But they had this scene where Johnny and Ashley were gettin' it on, on his bike, lol. Ashley was pants-less also, if i'm not mistaken. I'm upset that I forgot exactly who made it >_<

I tried adding a vehicle to the added cars from a seperate img file (newvehicles.img), but it says invalid model when I try ti spawn it.

You need to check your files, (vehicles.ide, images.txt, handling.dat, carcolors) as something in those files is wrong, as that message indicates that the game is not familiar with the model you are trying to spawn. That message prevented the game from crashing to desktop.

Just register this forum to say thank you for this wonderful Trainer, though the title says it's the simple trainer, but really, this trainer has it all. Great codding, greatly done, greatly greatly.

 

At first impression, I thought this just another not-working trainer that hard to install with many steps, but then I took an advance MG in the knee and actually the trainer works.

 

Once again, great thanks for your wonderful trainer. You sure beat CH's butt, maaaany times.

The game does this, I am not doing anything with animations when changing models. I guess I could somehow block them, but to be honest it doesn't really annoy me.

It does annoy me. Do whatever you can to add an option to block the game's attempts from doing this. I think a rather nice place to put the option would be in the first menu of the model spawning.

I had this mod (laptop version) a little while ago. But since i got a new keyboard an monitor i decided to use the normal version. I can open the trainer up, but i cant scroll up or down. i tried deactivating it and activating it but it still does not work. Please help

sjaak327, there is a thing to inform you of, a MAJOR issue, which is very important for you to solve if possibility exists in this case. Sometimes the trainer scrolling goes quicker than normal. I see you have vanquished the delays in version 6.4, and I think this is the cause of this issue. This could not just occur but be doubled or tripled, which will mostly cause the game to crash, making the scrolling extremely fast some times. Notable instances of this issue are so far guaranteed to be when entering Multiplayer or leaving the Video Editor.

2.a different airbreak i miss that from ingame trainer where you use airbreak and crash through cars your airbreak just goes through everything

What ? it fails to spawn a vehicle ? That normally never happens to me, and I do spawn a sh*tload of vehicles. The only time I have seen this happen is with added cars, where there was something wrong in the files, of course this should be fixed by properly adding the model. If it fails to spawn a car, it can only get stuck on modelrequest, as it waits until the model is loaded, if there is something wrong with the model it will indeed wait forever.

 

The airbreak is specifically made this way, I figured an airbreak with collision is useless.

I'm really loving 6.4 Sjaak, I can finally make maps and not have to worry about objects spawning in the wrong place.

One thing I would like to know is about the Bodyguard options, is it possible to edit the radius in which the bodyguards you spawn follow you?

 

It's just that when I spawned some bodyguards in the form of actual guards (like the ones the president gets escorted with) and the way they were following my player just didn't seem realistic. I would start walking and they would start to follow about two seconds after I had started moving, leaving this gap between my character and my bodyguards.

 

So I was wondering if there was a way to edit the distance so that they follow you at a more realistic space and rate so it appears that they are bunched up like a group instead of a single file (line).

sometimes the game is putting too much load on the computer so as soon as it fails so spawn textures will begin to stop loading pressing esc and then esc again will make them vannish completely

 

sometimes when a vehicle fails to spawn it usually works to hop in the water when you do you cannot move and just wait for it to spawn sometimes it does

 

so a timeout would be nice

I have a problem i installed this mod because it came with a vehicle pack, but before i installed the vehicle pack i installed GTA IV Mod: LCPD First Response v0.95 RC2, i don't know if there are any complications as trainer works when pressed keys like "[" but the menu when pressed F4 or F3 i don't remember doesn't work, i can't scroll, i can't select its just there, any clues?

The only problem is that I think it 'prevent' the key used to toggle the light in Emergency Light mod.

I have to press the button about 5-7 times to toggle the lights which is pissing me off. I disabled your trainer and it did work perfectly (ELM) so I know for a fact that it is your mod the problem...

 

 

I really love your trainer, it is with a lot of options so it's nice to play with it - Could you please fix/help me fix that problem? I tried finding if there was any key using J but it didn't do anything. Also Alt + M is also used to open the Menu of ELM so it's pissing me off when it spawns an NRG 9000 thingy...

The only problem is that I think it 'prevent' the key used to toggle the light in Emergency Light mod.

I have to press the button about 5-7 times to toggle the lights which is pissing me off. I disabled your trainer and it did work perfectly (ELM) so I know for a fact that it is your mod the problem...

If there are too many conflicts, you don't need to use any police mod. Here's how to set up being a cop with Simple Trainer:

1. Switch your model to a cop's model (M Y COP or M M FATCOP)

2. Go to the clothes menu and put on a hat. Optionally you can change your shirt (the second legs are for wearing the raincoat)

3. Get a pistol or a shotgun.

4. Get a police bodyguard. All cops need to be two in each car. Put on a hat on him in the bodyguard clothes menu.

5, the final step, and most important step. Change your relationship group to being set to "Cop"

The relationship group menu can be found in Options menu 1 at the right of the screen.

Now you are a member of the LCPD. Do the normal vigilante missions while being in a police car.

Note: DO NOT set the Never Wanted option to being toggled on, because if you set the relationship to Cop then they will realize you are a cop (works well with FIB and NOOSE as well) and therefore will behave like if you are hiding. If you are in a battle and you are wanted, the only thing other policemen will do is reinforce you.

It is not a problem, all keys are fully customisable in this mod. Not sure about the ELM mod (never used it), but if the mod is any good, it should offer customisable key bindings as well. So there is nothing that needs to be done here, except for you to delve into trainer.ini and adjust a few key bindings, or atlernatively disable all the keybindings via the menu (options menu) and then save all settings in the same menu. This will disable all keybinds except for the keys used for the menu.

 

trainer.ini:

 

the J key:

 

CloseCarDoorKey=74 change 74 to 0

EnableSpeedMphKey1=74 same as above

NoRagdollJump=74 same as above

 

the ALT+M:

 

Spawn8Key1=164 // Spawn 8 Default LALT

Spawn8Key2=77 // Spawn 8 Default M

My only problem now is that every time I'm trying to have a shoot out with the cops & the trainer activated, as soon as I reach 2-3 Wanted Stars or when cops show up to kill me GTAIV.exe stops working...
