[IV|REL] Simple Trainer for GTAIV

Anyone knows a fix for slow reaction times in this trainer? I have to press a key to do anything for 5 seconds.

I think that your PC is slow hm ;x

Im having slow reactions too, but my game doesnt lag at all, its pretty much smooth, and this slow reactioning isnt based on fps.

 

Maybe the trainer is skipping key checks?

Nah, do you have other mods interfering ?

No i dont. Except my own asi mod that only has about 2 functional things and dont interfere with anything.

I have first person mod, GrabScript, Script Hook.NET (and a normal one...) and the trainer, I tried other versions, but same reaction speed. This is weird, because earlier, it was running normally.

Is it always slow? Sometimes when I am playing it will be EXTREMELY fast. As in clicking the "move down" action once will actually make it move down 3-5x. Othertimes it will be extremely slow. I think it just depends on system speed @ the time of use. But thats just my experience.

I've got a problem with spawning objects. I made new model called test1. I generated a hashnumber for it, I wrote in SNT, but it said - Invalid hash.

Yes, that's because SNT is doing hash validation to prevent game crashes. The validation "database" contains about 27.000 known objects/hashes. If you are adding objects, the database obviously doesn't know about this model/hash.

 

There is a way around it, in the objects section of trainer.ini:

 

[ObjectSpawnOption1]

Model=2970756261

Description=BM_skate_flatramp Spawned

MenuDescription=Spawn BM_skate_flatramp

 

Any objecthash entered at any of the 60 object slots will work, as these are not checked against the database. Only modelhashes that are entered in-game are checked (which is a much needed crash protection), the ini isn't checked, as assumingly you would be carefull at what you save there smile.gif

Patch 7 is for IV only. The scripthook.log file is explicit, it cannot detect the game version, you are probably running the original game (unpatched). You will need to apply either patch 1 or patch 2 (for EFLC).

 

Normally GFWL client will notify you that the game needs updating, since you are using xliveless (which disables the GFWL client and prevents online play) you won't get this notification.

 

Two ways around this:

 

1) download the patch manually and install it

2) rename xlive.dll to something else, run the game, sign into live, you will get the notification, follow on screen instructions to install the update. Rename the file back to xlive.dll

 

If you want to play online, don't use xliveless but another asi loader.

Strange, I have never ever witnessed lagging of keys. In fact the way the trainer looks for keys hasn't been changed, it is still using the exact same method as back in January 2009 when this trainer was first released.

Thanks for the help, Sjaak327! You were right, my version was not up to date. I followed your link and got the newest version, and the trainer works perfectly. I appreciate the help.

Any particular reason why this door has never been able to open (in MP)? (even with "Unlock Various Doors")

Some suggestions:

1. "Move all objects". (This might have been mentioned in the past)

2. "Get Damaged AI Animation" (Similar to Get Damaged Object ID).

3. "Damaged objects invisible" (So if you have 100 objects you can simply shoot the ones you want invisible).

----I know of the option you put in that allows you to "cycle" through objects but if your someone who spawns (say 500 objects), going through each object 1 by 1 could get tedious.

4. "Freeze saved car" & "Unfreeze Saved Car".

Hey Sjaak, 2 things:

1. After changing character animation, I need to hold Num 5 to make it actually work. It just wanders off and doesn't works after 1 second, after pressing the num 5 key.

2. Is there any chance of episodic weapon sounds for bodyguards/peds/ etc? Spawned by the trainer, I mean.

If you want your character to do something like "sit down" using the animation, holding it is the only option. Looping it sometimes works but if the animation plays out to be "Go from standing position to sitting position", thats all the animation does and it resets. Sitting idle is a completely different animation all together. Now I use "sitting" as an example but it could be anything ranging from holding your hand in the air, to walking.

No idea of this patch is supported by scripthook.dll, what does scripthook.log say ?

 

If it is unable to detect version, you need to contact Aru, the author of the scripthook.

first of all download english version of patch 1.0.7.0 then i set russian language and then native trainer work

No, attacking driver is only a random ped. You can however simulate it, by spawing a specific attacking ped, they will chase you in cars in certain circumstances.

Press F3 to open the menu and F4 to close it. You use the number pad's 2, 4, 6 and 8 to navigate it and press 5 to select your options.

 

Or you can use the hotkeys assigned in the trainer.ini file to enable certain functions. Open up the trainer.ini to see how the hotkeys are setup.

And in addition, make sure you have copied an asi loader to the IV directory, refer to readme for links, or look in the OP.

You should add features to temporarily set popcycle values (such as density for specific/all ped types, vehicles) but just have it apply always, rather than only certain times. You could have an enable/disable, which makes it always use the selected values, or use the values in popcycle.dat (which vary with time.) You can also add a menu to set the frequency of the scenarios spawning (see scenarios.dat.)

 

Oh, and please also use the value specified in the ped weapon menu item when spawning bodyguards, rather than just giving them all an SMG. If people like it better with the SMG, they can choose that in the menu. I've also noticed peds with the combat task are always shot by the police when seen, even if they are unarmed. If a non-combat ped is fighting with fists rather than a gun, the cops always just arrest them.

It would also be nice if you could make a hotkey/menu option to bring the last car you used to a small distance in front of your feet, as well as being able to do the same but instead get brought to it smile.gif

The first part of your request can't be done as far as I know.

 

The last part is already in, just disable the drive-by weapon, it is both on the menu, and in the ini file.
