i got a small suggestiopn if it's not already there ability to save your settings

 

so when i start a game i don't have to disable peds etc etc just start the game and everything will be there

Many things are already being saved (be it that you need to set it in defaults section of trainer.ini), just see what is there, and report what's missing and I will add it.

Btw, isn't that possible to trainer change player's model back to Niko automatically right before saving, so avoiding it?

That would be easy to do IF you used the trainer save function, it might also be feasible for the game supplied function, but there is a timing issue, if you press enter to quickly, the model might not have been loaded.

In fact I've never saved a game when using the trainer, so that may be the reason I didn't know it.

 

 

Is there anyway of adding a key like F7 or something that will allow us to use a RANDOM speech of the current character?

Yes that should be possible, it would work like, what's the model, get the number of speeches supported by that model, and then randomize based upon the number of speeches supported, and say the speech associated with that randomized number.

 

Pretty easy to do, will consider it for the next version (which could take a while, as I am not working on adding features to the trainer currently).

no i mean a simple save button and load button and a "load latest saved cofiguration at startup" enabler disabler button

hey sjaak, i'm not sure if its a bug but when you play a speech from the speech menu others online can hear the speeches.

 

But if you saved a speech in 1 of the speech slots.. and load it again (Load=Play speech) then the other don't hear it.

 

So select speech at the top of the speech menu works. but speech slots i can hear but others cannot hear online. smile.gif

 

Anyway i really love those attached car object slots, i can manually load my modded and pimped cars fast biggrin.gif

Well, first of all I don't code for MP, so if others don't hear it, that's too bad I guess.

 

Second, there is no difference in the way speeches are loaded (at least not for the majority of voices), I set the voice to whatever, and then play the speech. The only difference is for the first set of voices, which I use a different method, but I cannot use that method when I load the speech from trainer.ini, as that different method is using the current model, and since I wanted to make sure that a certain speech would load in the same voice as with which it was saved, I have to use setvoice instead of relying on the model.

 

Edit I just realised I use a different native to say the speech when you load, that might be the problem, of course this means I need to set the voice, and set the voice back, which means more code to achieve this, might look into it for the next update.

well the next version 5.0 is a very respectable number trainer

i have a good of requests this time to the next version of the trainer

 

1. you can add a hydraulics menu to do various actions to vehicle

example, he turned around, turn sideways, and Rear + Front cards will be able to move down and up,

and shortcuts keys to use, this function also helps adjust the car while you fly

 

2. add option to change the speed up and down when you press "["

and "F6".

 

 

3. add functions: to grab players to cars

and car to car (tow car)

 

in addition to towing car, be a function to select the number of towing cars,

i mean it would just be like a train of cars.

 

 

4.have a little bug with god mode car, when someone shot on my wheel the wheel burst

you can fix it?

 

 

5. you can add a little improvement to gravity gun:

add a function you can pick up a few cars / peds / objects and

by another function that changes the number of cars / peds / objects

will be pick up.

 

 

6. add function to search objects by name.

 

 

7. add a function the player can stand on the roof car without falling in time driving

 

 

8. add a function the player can stand on the floor without falling, other player even try take him, but he will keep stand without falling or moving.

 

 

9. above trainer menu add logo image - "Simple Native Trainer"

Wow people still find things to add in an already over full trainer.

 

1) Maybe next year if I have some time, and can be bothered I will look into hydraulics.

 

2) F6 is airbreak, speed controls are plenty in this trainer.

 

3) You can already grab cars as player (forgot to read the readme I guess), there is a tow car mod somewhere for you to try.

 

4) That depends, I don't like people screaming bug all the time, the car god mode will protect the car's tyres. The special car god mode only when you specify it specifically. What car god mode were you using at the time ? I have never been able to shoot tyres burst in all of my testing, and indeed even the tyre burst menu doesn't work with normal car god mode enabled, so I am guessing you are using the special car god mode, and forgot to set it so tyres don't burst.

 

5) maybe if I have some more time, at the moment gravity gun is low priority.

 

6) No not going to consider this, that would be massive amount of work.

 

7) mabye

 

8) you mean something like fhe freeze car function, next version.

 

9) nah don't see the use of that, other then some silly self promotion, it's better to keep a low profile IMHO.

For me the trainer works fine, i seriously dont know what to add more, but hey thats a good thing biggrin.gif

 

Only thing thats left i think is just a little bugfix or tweak here and there in the already existing traineroptions.

Well the issue that you reported should have been fixed now, but I need to test it first (and I will need a volunteer to test it with, as I am referring to the other people cannot hear issue smile.gif )

ok, i wanted to try this yesterday, so i replaced this trainer wth inGame trainer.

 

So i tried to press F3(or F4) to open the menu, but it simply didnt work.

 

Now, what am i doing wrong?

I know there is a scripthook.dll delivered with it, but is it vital for running as i have an older version too of scripthook.

Hey sjaak, I'm not here to ask for adding new functions or options. But I wanted to ask if it is possible to fix the (maybe) bug with object spawning and MP. What I mean is that, when I spawn for example the oiltanker and rotate it to create a ramp. Other people often see the objects at a slightly difference position/rotation and therefor have bumps, that ruins the ramp. And when the ramp is saved - deleted - and loaded back, the 'bug' still exists. Do you have any idea what caused this and if it's not too hard to fix?

 

PS: if you need debugging/testing for this or something, i'll be happy to help you with that.

Wait, we are talking about cars right ?

 

I just tried it and I cannot burst the tyre in car god mode, I shot it with bullets, rpg's and god know what else. And using the burst tyre function, tyre is still in one piece. The player god mode doesn't work on the car as well.

 

 

@wesly123, I presume you replaced ingame trainer with this ? Otherwise you might be in the wrong thread. Regarding this trainer (simple trainer), if you want to use an older scripthook version, you also might have to use an older version of this trainer, version 4.5 or earlier should work fine with older scripthook.

 

@Atomic1, does it appear correctly for you ? To be honest I don't think it is fixable, I just load the objects at whatever position and rotation as is in the file, now if it doesn't appear correctly for you, that would be something i can fix, if it only doesn't appear for others, then to fix that would be next to impossible for me, maybe for Rockstar, but not for me.

Yes I did try it in MP actually, rpg's, normal bullets nothing.

 

The normal car god mode. Like I said it never ever failed on me, and I know the code is 100% accurate. In this case I don't see how it ever could go wrong, unless of course your car has been taken over by someone, then it might fail.

 

@Trackah123 , send me a PM if you're up for testing this, as I tried to test it with some people, but nowadays if you request something, you get accused of being gay (don't really see the connection here). Anyway I can't be bothered to try and get someone to listen to a speech if all I get thrown at me are curses and gay bashing sh*t, I sure hope the people I encountered are not your average GTAIV MP players, otherwise I will certainly not work on this anymore. Some people's intelligence are really below standard...

 

Edit2, I was able to test it and it does work correctly now, so that also the keys will be audible to other mp players, now if they would cut out the bashing it would be even more perfect smile.gif

Hey, just remembered a suggestion I thought somedays ago:

 

Is it possible to add the "Roman's Sorrow" Effect Toggle and the Open All Doors (AKA "Open Sesame") to the defaults on trainer.ini?

 

I noticed the last one, when turned on, is just temporary and after sometime all doors are closed again and you must turn it on again manually.

4. Maybe if its not too much work can you create a few "Save/load all attached objects to car/player" slots? (objectcar.ini and objectplayer.ini)

 

BTW the "sit down/stand up" function works fine in SP but doesn't seem to work in MP for me.

 

Note : Remember the fact that alot of young people play GTA4, i mean like really young kids. So maybe that's why you get that bashing stuff. I think its just puberty behavior but i also do see some nice servers with nice people not abusing the mods.

if you spawn them with the Rocket, they hold a Rocket in their hands, and if they throw a rocket (looks like throwing a grenade) they shoot rockets and they fly like the ones from Rocket Launcher, now the thing is, can you make it possible to use that for the player?

 

I dont want to f*ck around with my weaponinfo, so, since peds can use it, why not the player?

 

I tried to kill them, but the falling down weapon, the rocket model, just flys away without any sound and hits every wall with its red light around, impossible to pick it up then.

The minute the player has the weapon, I remove it immediately, as the game will crash on the animation.

BTW does any1 know what's the name of the train or can you give me a model id?

And 1 last question, will you keep working on the hydraulics?

Hey sjaak, great job with the new version. The only issue I've foung is that the saved car (K+NUM1) disappears after loading the saved game even if it was on that yellow "safe" area in front of safehouses. Could you fix it if it's possible? I mean, I'm just asking for the saved car not to be deleted when it's on the yellow area after loading the saved game.

Well I have no idea where to start, the saved car was never meant to be saved and loaded after you stopped and restarted the game, it is meant to make sure the game itself doesn't delete it when you are far away from it, possibly the reason why it isn't saved in the "yellow parking spaces".

 

Use the save load car feature that is offered by the trainer, or don't use the save car function, which indeed will mean that the game will delete the car in some circumstances.

Hey sjaak, I forgot to ask if you can remove the new pause between every clone.

It really interupts a ramp building process, if you the trainer freezes for 1.5 seconds everytime you try to clone an object.

I know that you may have done this to prevent unwanted extra objects form spawning, but does it have to be 1.5 seconds? That's really long in program code, and in all the previous versions this wasn't a problem? Actually for me it wouldn't be a problem if you cant clone more then once every 1.5 seconds, but the problem is that the trainer freezes and i can't go to move last spawned object and postion it. because positioning would take more then 1.5 seconds. So I won't notice the pause in between the clones.

 

And about my previous post, yea the ramp appears correctly for me. But for everyone is appears a bit off. I even think that it appears the same amount off for all the rest.

^ I will set the pause to be less, like maybe half a second, and see if that does what I am expecting it to do. If indeed the ramp appears correctly for you, I'm afraid there is nothing I can do, as I don't have the knowledge nor code that Rockstar has when it comes to syncing objects to other MP players. I do know if you hit a certain limit, objects don't show for other players, maybe that limit is causing this.

2) Yep, it works.

 

3) A blip is the icon/sign or whatever you want to call it that appears above the head of a ped for instance, or on top of a car, mostly they are red or blue.

 

4) I think you did request this earlier, but not going to do it, I provide 10 slots, that should be more then enough, the trouble is that I need to add a whole set of checks, just to separate the all objects from car or player attached objects, and I am not willing to spend the time.

 

5) Sit down not working in MP is a bit of a surprise, but not sure if that can be helped, as there is nothing I can think of, why it wouldn't work in MP. Unless of course you cannot assign tasks to the player in MP.

 

@Rob.Zombie, isn't there a train mod already, I thought I've seen it somewhere, not sure if it will fit in this trainer in any case, as it's fully loaded already. Regarding hydraulics, I had something working, but I'm still not sure what it should do exactly, in any case, not working on that.

 

@FelipeVinhao, regarding open doors, it's not meant to open them permanently, it was just for the liberty city bank doors, and I believe a few more doors, so I don't see the need to load them in trainer.ini, also if you move out of the area, I believe they are closed automatically. I don't remove them.

 

I will see if that roman's sorrow effect can be loaded automatically through the ini.

Yeah, i miss that, i was able to create much trains in Multiplayer, and other players could enter and ride it as well to the next station, me included.

 

But now it doesnt work, because it needs a new g4mhook for the new patch, you was able to create these trains with the Train Simulation Mod from Lt.Caine, in multiplayer you couldnt drive it like in singleplayer, youve just got thrown out and it drove away, and stopped every station.

 

Its just easy sjaak, to add a function called "Spawn Subway Train", that drives and holds every station etc.

Can you please add it for 5.0?

 

Would be a nice christmas present wink.gif

 

Anyway, it also would be nice if you could add a option where you can decide how much carriages the Subway has, but if its impossible, i said nothing about it.

 

A Subway would be a lot of fun in multiplayer smile.gif

creating a line of much players who get pwnt by a train.. awesome. Just like the old days.

 

//Edit: Oh, yeah, Rob.Zombie, its called Subway_hi (high-poly model) and subway_lo (lowpoly model, the LOD of it) you can find it in vehicles.img and you can spawn it as a objet.

Yeah i did play in MP with the sit down stand up function, it worked on older versions because i used it online.
