possible to lower cars? (i never scripted so have no idea if this is possible)

 

sorta like the tire thing, you can damage the tires and repair them, cant you do the same with the suspension

 

or possibly a different way...

 

i love the trainer man, makes GTA worth playing to me biggrin.gif

@sjaak327 you cant add limits for spawn TUGS ? Mayby 1-5 max spawn boat ?.

Anytime someone noob must spawn tugs and destroy server sad.gif, last night i play in 25 players, and one idiots spawn tugs sad.gif.

sjaak should just REMOVE the Tugs.

Why not just replace the tug model by a smaller boat? Easy as that... dozingoff.gif

sorry, im a noob at the asi thingy but i have a burning question

 

i cant seem to load the game with dsound.dll in the gta iv folder

 

when i extract xlive, norton deletes it instantly because they claim that it is a form of adware

 

HELP! I REALLY WANT TO USE THIS TRAINER!!!!

 

im using v1.0.4 btw

ok, running as admin prevents the error message from coming up but after the simple native trainer pops up, the game crashes "gta iv is not responding"...

Yes it does (unless you've changed the keybinding in the ini), to get instant health for player press Lalt + num 9, to fix the car, you would use fix car, which is Rctrl+Num1. Of course this is all described in that document that no-one seems to read.

 

Must be much easier to ask someone, then to take a few minutes to read a document, of course it's also on the menu.

Well, I have linked the Instant Health to Page Up (33), and the Instant Car Fix to Page Down (34), but nothing happens when I touch those buttons. Other functions work well (they are linked to Home, End, Insert and Delete).

But the instant health key is a keycombination, so is the fix car key, and I only allow for the base key to be customized, so there is no way to have these functions on a single key.

 

 

Some functions I allow both keys to be customized, but some I only allow the base key to be customized, effectively not allowing you to assign such function to a single key only.

 

For instance consider the fix car function, it is binded to RCTRL+ num 1, now how do you suppose this is going to work on a single key, considering that 8 other functions are binded to RCTRL+num 0, num 1 and so on ? So you change the RCTRL to say pageup, then surely you still need to use pgup + num 1 to invoke the fix car, and say pgup + num 3 to clean the car, only the first (base) key is customizable. The CarColorKey=163 is sharing 9 functions, so there is no way to pick one of those 9 functions and bind that function to one key.

Why not just use one key? That's way easier... whatsthat.gif

^ Yeah I agree, however, there are only so much keys I can use, for instance character keys are mostly already been mapped by the game (like ASDW) so that's why I use keycombinations. And in this particular case this key (RCTRL) is used for various other functions. therefore it is not settable to one key only. In fact there are quite a few keys that do allow for customistation even from two keys to one, but not this one. Of course its not that hard to use them on two keys in any case.

I noticed you asked for this before. To be honest, I think it is that stuff that was in that lowrider mission in GTA-SA right ?

 

If so, I skipped that mission, as it was so lame that I didn't even want to finish it. No normal person in their right mind would like to "dance" with a car. Having said that, I would be willing to include it into the trainer, but I have no idea how to code this in such a way that it is usefull. I suppose it is done through addforcetocar native, but have no clue or feeling to actually make it myself.

 

At least I finished the speeches stuff, ALL speeches from speeches.rpf are now documented, any voice or model will now have a list of speeches relevant to it, and all will work. I will release the speeches/voices changes at the end of the week.

 

@Tim Riches, thanks for that, will add them to the readme/trainer.ini.

Would it be feasible to have an option which would let you spawn a car with the car bomb already attached? Or perhaps a button combo to activate the bomb without having to get out of the car and go through the animation?

Is it possible to have a 'Save Defaults' option? It would allow the user to avoid editing the Defaults Section of the ini directly.

Not sure if i asked this before but...

 

1. I know there is a spawn attached object to player/car menu now but it only allows 1 object per slot.

Can you make a "Save all attached objects to player/car" option?

 

Its like the same as "Save all objects to objects.ini" but then for attached on car and player.

 

Perhaps a Objectscar.ini and ObjectsPlayer.ini? or something and then a few slots of those would be cool if possible.

 

Because i love to pimp my car biggrin.gif and would be awesome to spawn those objects again with the hit of 1 button instead of recreating the whole thing again.

 

2. Also is it possible to create static hash object menu's. So you dont have to type the number in per object. but just select it from a menu? I know it would probably take 50 pages or something like that considering the amount of objects there are in GTA4 but at least its easier then typing all the numbers in. Tho that get damaged ID object is nice so far.

 

Or is there a good way to discover all the objects without too much hassle? so i can write down my favourite ones monocle.gif

 

3. Bodyguard/ped animation menu (Last Spawned), is it possible to create this for (All Spawned)? to make stuff like a whole group of dancing peds instead of just 1?

1) that would be possible in a way, question is if that would be really usefull, there is just so many objects that you can attach to a car. Of course at the moment you could load all the saved car objects slots in one go, and have the same effect, surely you're not using hundreds of objects attached to your car ?

 

2) yes this would be very easy, again question would be if it would be usefull, imagine having to scroll through 26.000 objects, it would be far more quicker to put your favourite objects to any of the 60 objects slots, that are accesibly using the menu (via trainer.ini), or use a few digits to spawn objects that you don't have on your favourites. Also there are already browsable objects list for all the CJ objects and some other objects via the more objects menu. Unless of course you want one object per menu option, not only would that be a lot of work for me, but again, imagine the scrolling you need to do to get to that object, and compare it to the time it takes to enter a 10 or 11 digit object hash.

 

3) yes that would be possible.

 

To be honest with you, As I said before, I want to stop developing this for a while, as I need to do other stuff, I have spend a great deal of my time, to improve the speeches in this trainer, and after testing want to release the trainer. And then whenever TLAD comes, see if I can make it run on that one.

 

@Tim Riches, yes that would be possible, however considering the amount of options that can be set in defaults, not sure if it would be feasible, let's just say I will keep it in mind.

 

 

@616e6f6e, is it the bomb you're after or the explosion ? You can already explode the saved car, without having to go through the bomb animation, which I always believed is half the fun smile.gif

Well about the attached car objects, yeah i don't use 100's of objects on a car but i do use more then 5 slots yes, maybe increase to 10 - 20 at max.

 

But since loading 1 slot at a time is kinda slow that's why i thought about save all objects to objectscar.ini and make a few slots of those.

 

I can understand you're busy with your life etc and so far you did a great job on the trainer, big thumps up icon14.gif

Yeah that's the one. Anyway it's very easy. All you need is some quick boost command on the front part of the car, on the rear and on the side. That's how tuningmod's author did it. Anyway I'm not really into lowriders and the hydraulics system, but it feels so great to put a great song, then cruise in LC with a bouncing Manana biggrin.gif

I think every1 would like that. When I did that on a server (back with patch 1.0.4.0) every1 asked how am I doing it, and it really is fun.

It's the bomb, which I can detonate remotely with RCTRL+B biggrin.gif It is fun to strap the bomb to the back of the car, but it's also fun to have several bomb-laden vehicles parked in the windows of a building and watch them all blow up simultaneously! This would be much easier/quicker without the animation wink.gif

it has small text

 

so sensitive movement that i miss every option every time

 

take InGame Trainer for example that one has the perfect menu

 

and why has open and close doors

 

why not have both open and close right side door on one single option instead of browsing down to close when wantin to close a door just press again

 

ingame trainer has 133 different colors both pearl and regular native has 5 slots i guess it can be configurd but still

 

when moving thru it you have to almost hit the key as fast as you can to move if you press it will skip like 4 options

 

don't get me wrong i love the trainer but the menu is awful the white text the tiny text the movement i just hate it

I think I told you several times that the speed of the menu scrolling can be adjusted.

 

Small text is not going to change, it will lead to more srolling=slow

 

The open/close door functions are on the menu for completeness, use the shortcuts if you don't want to scroll.

 

Regarding car colors, I guess you missed the car color menu, on the second car options page ? 133 colors for all 4 different possible colors + the ability to set the limit higher if you edited carcols.dat

 

Regarding the menu text, also that can be easily adjusted to 455 colors for both the menu text and the menu highlight text, it's on the options menu, second page.

 

I happen to love the menu, and it's far better then the one in ingame trainer, which requires more scrolling as it only displays 8 options or so per page.

what i mean is make the text slightly bigger and bald font it just looks so plain white and dull

 

i don't mind scrolling a extra couple of seconds it's alot easyer then looking at that small white text i find it easyer to see the text on ingame trainer and i don't get what you mean by "completeness"

 

i would be very happy if it was more like ingame trainer

 

make both 2 different menu's

 

im not alone with this theres so many begging in "ingame trainer" thread about putting it back to life and updating it

 

so i would be very thankful if you did 2 different versions of native trainer one with the classic menu and one like "ingame trainer"

 

also you never told me that you can configure movement speed

 

like i mentiond i would be very thankful if you did both menu's you don't even have to update that one as the functions are plenty

Regarding shortcut keys for speeches, they are already in, Ralt+7 through to Ralt+0 for slot 1 through to slot 4. In the upcomming version of the trainer, there will be 10 slots, and the keys will change (shift 1 through to shift 0), also ALL speeches will be in, and the load slot will now take the voice used to save it into consideration. The speech/voice changes are massive, and was quite a lot of work.

 

Regarding the hydraulics, how is that suppose to work, you press a key and the car gets a force somewhere ? I have no idea to be honest, not promising I will be able to make it worthwhile.

 

@zzcool, the problem is, that will take quite a lot of time, and I stated several times, that I want to spend less time on this trainer, not more time. I have provided ways to adjust the menu, both in allowing you to set the scroll speed (in the ini) and the menu colors (both in the ini, and in game, with immediate effect), that will have to do for now.
