Filecheckfix doens't work half of the time, that's why you are getting these problems. Scroll back a page or 5/6 where I explain an alternative solution to this problem, it might work out for you.

I have to say something for 64bit users and perhaps for 32bit also, or just not familiar with the Windows filesystem (folder structures).

 

I helped a few people with GTA4 setting up the Trainer using TeamViewer (remote control application).

What i notice is that some people just put everything everywhere on their hard drives cluttered all over the place. multiple partitions multiple GTA4 installations etc etc.

 

Make sure IF you install the trainer you install it into the right GTA4 folder. because i already had 2 times that i saw for example :

 

GTA4 Installed in (64bit windows):

 

C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV

C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV

 

Or when having multiple partitions i saw this:

 

C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV

D:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV

 

So what happens then is you try to install trainer into D: drive or (x86) folder but you notice it doesnt work no matter what you try? well it makes sense then when you start the game and the game actually starts from drive C or normal program files folder.. because then you are messing with the wrong gta4 folders in the first place.

I use this trainer and I also chat with people using the steam community overlay, I pause the game when I do that. But it seems after I close the overlay and unpause the game, the trailer has remembered the keys I typed in my chat and presses them all ingame, disabling and enabling a bunch of stuff I don't want. How can I stop this from happening and still be able to talk to my friends when I play?

Yes this problem has been reported to the author of the hook some weeks ago already. Thanks for reporting it anyway.

Did you get crashes game when exit free mode and go back to play singleplayer mode before loading??

I had tried to replace trainer and this without crashes game.

Is ScriptHook has problem? I think so....

Never tried to play it on-line, especially since I'm using xlive.dll from xliveless, but without ScriptHooks.dll I get no crash reports when exiting the movie editor. It's fine for the most part, I only have to restart the game if I need the trainer afterwards to record some more.

You could try and disable the trainer (using RCTRL+RALT+D) enable again using RCTRL+RALT+E, keys should not register as long as the trainer is disbabled.

I do not own the game yet, but plan on buying it soon, and will then immediately grab this trainer. Thank you so much sjaak327 for creating a trainer for this game. God knows the console version needed one badly!

 

I have a simple question....

 

The one thing I hated the most about the console versions of GTA IV was the fact that there was no mid-mission save point, or no sort of quicksave/quickload feature. This made going through some long missions a pain in the ass. Does your trainer allow us PC users to quicksave the game anywhere we want, or at least as long as we're on foot, and then quickload? I read the features but don't think I saw this anywhere.

Yes it has quik save just hit the tab button but if u plan to buy this game

make sure u have the recommended spec's because using with trainer

demand's more of ur system smile.gif

Hey is there a hotkey that instantly heals you, or your car? Because I can't find it. TimeHealth (Time, Weapons, Healt Armor) doesn't seem to work...

Yes it does (unless you've changed the keybinding in the ini), to get instant health for player press Lalt + num 9, to fix the car, you would use fix car, which is Rctrl+Num1. Of course this is all described in that document that no-one seems to read.

 

Must be much easier to ask someone, then to take a few minutes to read a document, of course it's also on the menu.

THIS IS MY PROBLEM:

I have been playing with the 1.0.4.0 version of the gta IV and i have done all the missions and a lot of extra missions, then

I have changed version to 1.0.0.4 (5th version) but i copied the crack first, then i opened the game and it appears in the first mission (ITS YOUR CALL) but i have finished all the missions, so can anyone help me, when i tried to load the complete history it says i have to check something. Well, sorry about my bad english PLZ HELP ME I HAVE DONE ALL THE MISSIONS 2 TIMES AND I DONT WANT TO DO IT AGAIN, ITS TOO LONG. THX

How to set player'max health in c++ codes? SetCharMaxHealth does't work, please help me sad.gif

Use: IncreasePlayerMaxHealth(playerIndex,300); for the player, this will set the health to 500 if player already has full health. Setting it higher will disable melee for player.

One word of caution, if you use the option CTRL+F7, Q and F9 to change to other models or player models, don't save your game, as it might mess up the save game. The same applies to any model spawned using the menu system. Also doing missions (cut scenes) is not supported. Furthermore, if you changed from Niko to another model, then change back to Niko and then try and put on a hat, helmet, glasses or wrist items, the game will crash.

 

 

It doesn't have anything to do with the police either, to reproduce you just need to change from Niko to someone, back to niko and put on helmet glasses and see the game go back to desktop.

Hi Skaaaj327. Question regarding this issue:

 

Can you get around this by swapping to a different model, and then continue to swap to yet another different model other than Niko? Will the game still crash if you avoid going back to Niko?

 

You also say "doing missions (cut scenes) is not supported". Just to clarify, you're saying that we cannot do any missions in the game with any models other than Niko? If not, is this something you can fix or are working on? I'd love to do some missions with for example, Brucie or Jacob biggrin.gif

^ yes that is exactly what it means, if you try and do missions with any other model (apart from Niko), the game will most likely crash. Reason is simple, Rockstar didn't record cutscenes with other actors (like brucie) being the player. So that answers the next question as well, there is no way around this (other then recording those custscenes, something that of course isn't going to happen).

 

Regarding your first question, I am afraid there is no way around it, someone claimed that by saving Niko's skin when you do the change, and then restoring him the same way, gets around the issue, but it sometimes still crashed. Of course you can change from Niko to whoever to Niko to whoever as many times as you like, just be sure not to put a helmet, hat or glasses on Niko after the first change. So in short, you can change all you like, as long as once you're Niko again, you avoid changing helmets, hats or glases, other piece of clothes are fine. Also you can still change helmets, hats on other models, just not on Niko after the first change. (even though it does work fine in a savehouse, but the minute you walk out of the savehouse with a changed hat, the game still crashes.

 

I am thinking of preventing changing those items on Niko, if he is changed to another model.

Thanks bro. Well, no big deal. In all honesty I just happy you put in the essential things like save anywhere(this is HUGE for me) and Inifinite health, teleport, etc.

when I spawn Broker Bridge (Hash 2393007270) it doesn't have collision is that normal? btw the walking style change works for me now... i reinstaled gta 4 and now it works... i dont know why it doesnt worked bevore confused.gif

LOL! I remember how I once spawned the Rotterdam Tower while playing Multiplayer with sjaak327. He was like *Facepalm* Good God, OutOfTimer, what did you do this for ? ROFL Good times. biggrin.gif

 

(And to answer your question - yes, unfortunately it's normal. These objects are not static. I don't think it's possible to make the game recognise them as valid. I think sjaak327 tried to explain this to me once but I don't remember exactly.)

Well, I have linked the Instant Health to Page Up (33), and the Instant Car Fix to Page Down (34), but nothing happens when I touch those buttons. Other functions work well (they are linked to Home, End, Insert and Delete).

Well, I have linked the Instant Health to Page Up (33), and the Instant Car Fix to Page Down (34), but nothing happens when I touch those buttons. Other functions work well (they are linked to Home, End, Insert and Delete).

But the instant health key is a keycombination, so is the fix car key, and I only allow for the base key to be customized, so there is no way to have these functions on a single key.

 

 

Some functions I allow both keys to be customized, but some I only allow the base key to be customized, effectively not allowing you to assign such function to a single key only.

 

For instance consider the fix car function, it is binded to RCTRL+ num 1, now how do you suppose this is going to work on a single key, considering that 8 other functions are binded to RCTRL+num 0, num 1 and so on ? So you change the RCTRL to say pageup, then surely you still need to use pgup + num 1 to invoke the fix car, and say pgup + num 3 to clean the car, only the first (base) key is customizable. The CarColorKey=163 is sharing 9 functions, so there is no way to pick one of those 9 functions and bind that function to one key.

the speech save\load function does not seem to work for me..

Well, to explain what happens:

 

if you for instance are Niko, and save the first speech arrested, then load it again using Niko, it should all work fine.

 

The problem arises when you try to load that same speech when you are brucie, as there is no arrested speech for brucie, hence you will not hear anything.

 

Even though I consider this trainer to be complete, voice support is the only area in which a huge improvement is in order. Therefore the last week I have been working on improving voice support.

 

I will map all voices in speeches.rpf to the trainer. Currently I have done all female voices and the character voices like Brucie, Roman, girfriends etc. (basically the first two voices categories on the voice menu. When you select these voices (or are using a model that uses these voices), when you go to the speech menu, only speeches that will work with that voice/model are shown, so all voices should then also work. (in trainer v4.9, not the current release trainer !).

 

Another improvement is that once you save a certain speech to be used later, the trainer will not only record the speechname, but also the voicename, so that once you load the speech later on, it will be audible, as the voice is also set to the correct voice when loading the speech. (again not in the current version).

 

Now this is quite a lot of work, considering there are 766 voices of which I have done only 250 or so at the moment. We are also talking about approx, 25.000 speeches, of which 7000 are done at the moment.

 

The speeches are of course mostly using the same name, but establishing which speeches are recorded with which voice is the work that I am doing now. This involves using a spreadsheet, and then just making a list of speeches for each voice, then copy that down to the trainer. I am doing an average of 15-20 voices an hour, so it will take me some time.

 

Then after that's all done, trainer v4.9 will have full voice support.

The new version is awesome. I love the yellow neon (or orange who cares ^^), but I'm still missing a shortcut key option for the speeches. So it'd be awesome if we only have to push a button to play the sounds. That way I could make great police chases ^^

Anytime someone noob must spawn tugs and destroy server sad.gif, last night i play in 25 players, and one idiots spawn tugs sad.gif.
