okei
I have a HP Pavilion a6332 and I'm looking to fit it with a Corsair HX520W from here. The motherboard is an M2N68-LA which is a MicroATX (9.6 in X 9.6 in). I've heard that ATX power supplies are compatible with MicroATX motherboards. I'm also wondering if I will be able to fit the PSU in my HP machine since I've heard that some use proprietary connectors. Edit: If you need any more information, just ask me. Jim
I've heard that ATX power supplies are compatible with MicroATX motherboards. Yes, but MicroATX motherboards generally come with smaller powersupplies, from my experience. You probably wouldn't be able to properly mount that powersupply in the case for that motherboard. anus
ATX power supplies work fine with mATX boards. That board has the usual 24 pin ATX and 4 pin CPU power connectors, so I'm pretty sure that PSU would work fine with the board.
