partslinger
This has to be the worst gaming experience I have ever encountered. I have finally gotten the multi-player to work semi decent, but I have to play windowed. But, the multi-player is rife with cheaters. So that kinda blows that for me. I have yet to get the single player to play well enough to make it worth my time. So I paid $50.00 for a game that has done nothing but add stress to my life. That is not what gaming is supposed to be about. I havn't heard one word from Rockstar about a possible patch, but if they don't fix it I'll be getting on board with a class action lawsuit. I'll be damned if I'll get stuck with a $50.00 beer coaster! I tell you Rockstar, this is no way to deal with a problem. First you recognise and concede that there is a problem, than you soothe your customers with loving words and pleasant phrases, like "We are right on top of it", "We are working night and day to resolve these issues", or the ever popular "A patch will be forthcoming that will address these issues". What you don't do is downplay the situation and tell people that only one percent of us are having problems, and the game was designed for computers that don't exist yet. If the game was designed for computers that don't exist yet, how did you test it? This is the kind of sh*t I expect from third world programmers, not the U.S.A. or Canada. chngdman
Hmm, I disagree and I think it's your own fault. But, to give you the benefit of the doubt, please, list your specs? This way I'm not just some assuming weasel, and I'm sure we'll figure out why IV doesn't meet your expectations soon enough Oh, and my computer is bare minimum specs (1.86 ghz processor) and I get a smooth 30 FPS, just as expected (and the most one can expect on 1: bare minimum 2: advanced huge-world rendering 3: state of the art physics simulation and real time animation on-the-fly). So, please, list your specs, operating system, and if worst comes to worse, a sysinfo. Game was designed to work on systems of today but to really shine on systems of tomorrow. And not to compare the two, because you really can't, but Crysis said the same thing and it didn't get anyone mad, it just made them eager to upgrade their weak ass boxes. Well computers of the future will still have sli and crossfire. If you made it for the future you look like a liar already. You claim the percentage of people having problems is very small and that you will patch the game immediately. You addressed the game with a patch immediately and claimed it would increase performance significantly, but you made it cause more problems for some people... hmm liar. You let others review the game but it was installed on one of your own systems and you would not allow any of them to install it. Wonder why? You state the game runs better and looks better on the PC, this was months before the release. I can go on and on. Yes Rockstar does lie and doesn't care. You could try to take them to court, but are you so sure?
chngdman
lol @ class action lawsuit BTW. Good luck with that. No lawyer in their right mind would go against rockstar (for THIS 'problem') after they saw what happened to Jack Thompson. Lol.
CharmingCharlie
This is the trouble shooting section for the forum, if you have a SPECIFIC problem then you should be posting here. If you do NOT have a specific problem then you should be posting in the PC section.
