exile550
So I just installed GTA IV on PC today. Everything is okay except the stuck keys problem mentionned in this thread: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=383279 My problem is not with a gamepad or joystick but with my mouse and keyboard. So I'm supposed to unplug those two components, restart my computer an restart the game after all that? How am I suppose to be able to do that if my mouse and keyboard are unplugged??? I tried it all, uninstalling drivers, restarting the game and all, but nothing does it. Anyone has ideas or other solutions? Thanx for your replies! DaOrange
U sure you do not have a device still connected to one of your usb ports? I had the same problem but I simply forgot to unplug my Logitech steeringwheel from an usb port
exile550
Found a solution. I unplug my keyboard, launch the game, and replug it once at the main menu. I just hope I won't have to do that for too long and taht they will release a patch with a fix.
TmM_Automan
@ exile550 , hey thanks buddy ! I was having the same problem as you but could not make sense of rockstars solution , I don't have any usb devices or controllers apart from a standard keyboard and an optical mouse. Neither way they suggested worked for me , but the fix you posted has sorted it ! you can have your handkerchief back as I have stopped crying now it was the rebooting that stopped it from working, R* should edit their support page. once again my thanks to you exile sir.
