I'm usually not big on milestone topics, but when I realized that I've been coming to these same forums for five years now... it was kind of sad, actually. In all seriousness, though, I never thought I'd be coming to these forums for this long. In the last five years, I've met a lot of cool people, learned things, done things I'm proud of and things that I'm not so proud of. I've been in three gangs (for those of you who remember unofficial gangs) and met people I have a lot of respect for in all of them, as well as during the rest of my time here. There's far too many of them to name (sorry, no respect list), but if you're a friend of mine, you know it. I know that many people are already long past their five-year mark (like les) and many others who also registered in 2004 are coming up on it, but this is a very cool thing to me. The fact that people continue to come here after so long (this site is about as old as this century, after all) is a testament to the kind of place it is, and I think both the staff and the general membership deserve credit for that.
