visionist
Crouching is so pointless. Niko never ducks under anything. See a barrier or flatbed? Crouch and shuffle towards it, only to be blocked by an invisible wall.
bonesy
So crouching is pointless only because of that? It's verry usefull.
packardcaribien
Well crouching isn't particualrly useful, especially since Niko may accidentally crouch while walking foward. I think crouching should get a different button, like one of the 2 shooting buttons (you really don't need 2!)
JasonThummel
Wow, I cant believe this topic exists. lol Have you ever used a car as cover?
Rhoda
You say this, yet if the ability to crouch was to be taken out you'd surely have something to say. Crouching may not be as useful as in other games, Grand Theft Auto or not, but it certainly helps the aesthetics of Niko in terms of being a human being. I mean, come on, he gets knackered after running a lengthy period of time, it's only right you can make him buy a soda, throw a brick and crouch. Jordy.
Crouching can... - Increase your shooting accuracy - Make it harder for people to shoot you - Allow you to hide behind small objects or cars So stop ranting.
mrpain
Crouching can get u some good camera angles if u r making a video
gamesguru
I guess your the type who takes cover behind small objects and ledges instead of crouching behind them, making it easier to shoot and harder to get shot. I know your not bitching, but your ignorance is extraordinary; next time ask if there is any points to crouching instead of demeaning it.
Jordy.
And also, if you crouch on multiplayer, the blip above your head disappears so if you're hiding behind something or are inside a bunch of plants, people won't know where you are! xNamexTakenx
Like Jordy. said, crouching is to shoot more accurately. If you think crouching in this game has no point, try doing it in VC. You can't move or anything, you just stay in one spot.

Khal
Its funny how the thread starters only post once in their threads. not really with a thread like this the poster is simply trying to see how many people he can get to post in his thread cause it boosts their ego (and yes I do realize that by posting in his thread I am simply adding gas to his fire)

t3h PeNgU1N oF d00m
I use it whenever I am in shootouts. Considering you can't use your phone while covering against a wall, I crouch to call the police or friends.

LitoBX
The funny thing is if Rockstar left crouching out of the game you'd cry even more.
TonyClifton
I have a compulsion to crouch Niko when he has had a fight with someone and they are down, so that he looks as if he cares and is kneeling over them. AS IF..........
Pantheon
Crouching is needed, so you can teabag your enemies.
visionist
Wow this got alot of replies. By Pointless I meant as in exploration and evasion: Niko can't duck under objects even though he will fit. WTF?! Parked trucks are the most annoying. The phone is Gay as Hell aswell: Niko calmly walks and talks with it whilst being GUNNED DOWN by the Cops. He won't run, he wont cancel the call. He WILL be wasted.
