What are you trying to capture? I didn't look at what dazzle actually was before lol, I thought it was an actual dvd recorder unit. All you should do is plug Dazzle into the computer (USB jack) and plug w/e source into it (dvd player, camcorder, etc). Either by s-video or composite (red, yellow, white). So if your trying to capture a dvd from a dvd player. Take that composite cable (red, yellow, white) and plug it into your dvd player output then plug the other end into dazzle. What type of connection does your TV have? Whatever connection it has, you need to get whatever cable type for that input, and connect it to your TV. Then see what type of connection is used for your video card on your computer. Connect the 2 and you should be able to watch what you have captured on your computer, through your HDTV. Dazzle does not connect directly to your TV. Edited January 18, 2009 by livilaNic
K^2
BUT when I opened up the package the cables were Red, Yellow and Black??? Don't worry about the color. As long as it has an RCA jack, you're good. Just use black cable as if it was a white one. Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns. This "unfortunately my HD tv don't have TV Output slots" had me all confused, so I tried to help the best I could.

Slamman
As has been the norm for ages, black or white RCA is intended for video, as an identifier, often the cables' size is improved upon in the same way Monster Cables are over sized, better signal strength, it's so nominal you'll likely never notice, I use general RCAs for all my analog to digital capture, using Dazzle as well, but I moved away from them after Pinnacle debockled their handling of the buy out, I still keep the old gear on hand as it runs on low end Pentium 2 machines!!
