Waypoint Bug

When you select a waypoint and you don't goto it (not going to the area where is says "designation reached" and then play a mission you can't remove the green icon for it no mater what. The game acts as if its not there (you are able to select a new waypoint).

Where exactly in the game you experienced the issue: While playing the game

What version of the game you have: Retail with 1.1 patch

What is your OS: Windows XP Home SP3

I got also similar problem. With legal version and the newest patch (1.0.2).

However this is how I got it:

I was Pigeon hunting and marked the place of one pigeon. Accidentally I hit a police and soon got 4 stars. So I went to save the game because it was faster than running. The mark was still on the map after saving. And it stayed there.

 

I have tried removing it with two ways:

- going there

- with mouse

 

Navigator won't draw a way to the buggy green mark. The buggy mark appears in taxi though (which is way it's annoying). I can put a new green mark which works normally.

 

Upper one is buggy mark.

Lower one is real mark.

You can always reload from a previous save (maybe), but as far as that happening, I haven't experienced it with the 1.0.2.0 patch.... sorry I can't help any further.
