GTA IV Crashing

I start to play the game, go about 15-30 minutes into it, and it crashes with 'GTA IV has stopped working, please restart the program' or 'GTA IV has stopped responding, please restart'.

 

Vista Business pack

2.44 ghz Intel processor

4 gbs of ram

Gigabyte Motherboard
