minimike86 Posted January 16, 2009 Share Posted January 16, 2009 Ok i spent all of yesterday playing GTAIV from around 1pm-1am attempting to complete the AWP trophy. I did every single variation of all the games, Ive won every race and gta race, done cops n' crooks as both sides etc. but then once i 'thought' id finished i didnt get the trophy. I waited a good hour before quitting the multiplayer mode and then checked the stats only to find that the R* servers didnt acknoledge me winning (or in some cases even playing) certain game modes. I know for a fact i had done them as i was using a check list and worked through every game methodically, jsut wonding why some games didnt update when others did. I'll try and finish off the ones that didnt update tonight but if i dont get the trophy now as it isnt one session i will be pissed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can confirm that I did get my "team player" trophy in multiple sessions (split up over 3 different days)... I'm working on the AWP one now too.... I have kept a list of what I need to do, I'll post back here if I get it or if I don't when I'm supposed to-- should get done today or tomorrow. in your game of cops and crooks-- you need to win on both sides in one game (cops side and the crooks side)-- did you get the "teamplayer" trophy yet-- win in all team mode games. in your 12 hours session, did you ger disconnected at any time?? it is possible the game will not update for previous game stats if you get dropped (it might do it when you leave multiplayer) however I got my trophies within about 5-10 seconds of completing the last of each requirement, so this really doesn't seem like that it the case. According to the socialclub and stats I have one win on every mode I need and all game were won this month. But when I click "see friends score", or whatever it's called, it's got my PSN listed 3 times and one of them doesn't have a win on a certain race. I wonder if I have to redo all the "team" modes -- I counted completing the "taking it for the team" trophy as having won in the team modes- I've only re-done turfwar since my taking it for the team trophy... will redo the other team modes and see what happens. @ Devilliers-- I don't recall seeing dates next to any of my stats on the social club or my in game stats... Zikomos Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 That is good to hear you don't have to do the AWP trophy all in one sitting anymore. But do you have to play ranked matches on the PS3 where you can only play with random people? Because it sounds like you guys got this trophy pretty quickly. It took me from 4.29.08 until 1.10.09 to finally get the achievement on the Xbox 360 since you can only play with random people on the Xbox 360 in ranked matches. Now I just need to get to rank 10 for the Wanted achievement. Also, for Cops n' Crooks you need to win as both sides in one match as mentioned above by Spuds725. But you don't have to win it as One vs. All and All vs. One, just one mode will work for this achievement. You don't need to finish at the top either, you just need to be on the winning team for AWP and Taking it for the team trophies. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Spuds725 Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 I'm pretty sure you can do them all either way (randoms or private matches) on PS3. I got my "taking it for the team" trophy in random matches and also all my other MP trophies in random matches. I did private matches (1 on 1) with a friend for him to get the "midnight club" trophies (both of them)- back when you had to do them in one session-- next to impossible with randoms unless you are the host and can pick the races-- since they have to be 20 different races. Yes, I did win as both sides of Cops n Crooks... minimike86 Posted January 19, 2009 Author Share Posted January 19, 2009 OMG lol i went through every stat page and found 8races that didnt get updated, I went and redid one of those races and got the trophy strangely 7 of my race stats still show as "No Score Found" lol oh well got the trophy thats all that counts.
