Christon
I recently recieved a brand new copy of GTA 4 (Retail) and everything installed correctly including the setting up of Rockstar Social Club and Microsoft games for windows live but no matter how I attempt to open GTA 4 it simply will not open. I have noticed that the game would show up in the processes of the task manager for about 5 seconds and then disappear. I've tried so many things to try and get the game to run as posted in this forum earlier but nothing helped. Something I thought it might be due to was buying the game from India off eBay and that GTA 4 might be region locked or something, but I am certain that the game is genuine and brand new, also I have bought other games from India and they opened and ran perfectly. A few things I have tried already was that commandline.txt thingo from Rockstar support, activating manually even though I understood it had already activated, reinstalling, updating video drivers, and other programs GTA 4 needed, downloading the latest GTA 4 patch, nothing has helped. My computer specs are: Intel Q6600 2.4 Quad-Core CPU Asus ATI Radeon HD 4850 512mb Graphics Card 4GB memory Windows XP SP3 500GB HDD (Split into 2 partitions, game installed on secondary partition, don't know if that's a problem) Every single game I have ever installed on my current computer, even Crysis Warhead and San Andreas have run perfectly from start to finish, surely on my computer the game could at least start. Help for this problem would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Christon
Yeah I thought of it being a securom problem, I used some securom uninstall program which didn't fix the problem, besides it said some of the securom thingo's couldn't be removed.
