Sorkenlol
It's not possible without editing the animation then? The only thing is "Timebetweenshots" but it says it depends on the animation aswell. I saw some mod a few hours ago that changed the rate of fire (according to the OP) and it only modified weaponinfo.
rebel_36
<anim group="[email protected]"> <rates firerate="1.2" blindfirerate="1.2"/> </anim> the anim can be what you want
Sorkenlol
Thanks, I tried it out but I can't get it to work. Here's a piece of the code: </data> <assets model="w_m4"> <anim group="[email protected]"/> <rates firerate="2.0" blindfirerate="2.0"/> </anim> <effects> <muzzle fx="muz_machine"/> <shell fx="weap_ejected_rifle"/> </effects> </assets> </weapon> Oh and there's no long space between anim group and rates firerate, that's just the quote messing with it. Xylece
Is there a way to change the drive-by rate of fire?
LordOfTheBongs
check the weaponinfo.xml file for a rate of fire property, if there is one then it is possible to create a script to edit this value directly in memory also rate of fire is dependent on the gun, i dont think it changes if ur using the gun to do a drive by or if you are on foot... although something like that could be scripted if u wanted different firing rates when drive by only Edited April 24, 2014 by LordOfTheBongs
