Joining team game from party mode glitch

Everytime I do a party mode, invite my friends, then we start a game... another team joins... and poof, we both get kicked back to party mode. Why? This glitchy bullsh*t should be reserved for PCs, not consoles. I bought a f*cking PS3 so I don't have to deal with this crap.
