But i've been thrown to the principals office a couple of times. One of them was when i was playing baseball in math class (lol). Another time because i started singing Y.M.C.A in english class. DeadByDagger Posted January 16, 2009 Share Posted January 16, 2009 My freshman year me and a few of my friends were playing "The Penis Game" in History class. Which is, you basically just have to yell "Penis" louder than the person who yelled it before you. So, the person before me basically said it in a whisper and I just screamed it as loud as I could. The room went silent, and you could hear someone from the room next door say "What was that?" I got a DT for that one. Also that year, I got another DT because we were in math class and the teacher was going over the homework and he asked if anyone had any questions. So I raised my hand and said "Do you like Peach cobbler?" And I got a 2 hour for that. The next couple of years the DTs were mostly for skipping class and whatnot. Senior year, my first detention was because I walked across a table in the cafeteria. And the detention slip read "Walked over a table in the EC [East Commons]. When asked why, he said 'I didn't feel like walking around the table to get to the other side'" Later that year I got one for sleeping under a table in the library and another for "having underwear exposed." I stretched my arms up and my shirt lifted for all of 5 seconds and a teacher nabbed me for it. But, all of those detentions were from the only 2 teachers in the school who didn't like me. Otherwise, everyone loved me and I was really close with the librarian and he gave me the key that opens every door in the school. So me and my friends would skip class and hang out in the bomb shelter or auditorium all day. Nobody ever cared... All my teachers passed me regardless of whether I went to class or not. darthYENIK Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 I never got caught doing the real bad stuff, like cutting class, smoking dope, fighting or anything like that (which I did do quite often). When I was in fifth grade there was an announcement on the PA about a car with it's lights on. Some other kids and I ran out the door 20 feet yelling, "it's mine I'll get it." We ran back. The teacher didn't think it was funny. Got detention, but after that, i got to go to the councilor every Thursday, where we played with toys, and had pizza parties for being good. I pantsed a friend of mine once. Got THREE WEEKS of detention. And since I was in 5th grade I had to sit with the principal during recess and lunch. Got to know her better, she saw that I wasn't as bad a kid as the teacher that caught me was claiming, and let me go after a week and a half. Got detention a couple of times while at secondary. One was for laughing at the priest at a Christmas service. I'm right handed and I don't remember getting detention in.. 8 years? The last time I got detention was for something like throwing snowballs with friends outside. His name is Barry (we aren't allowed to address teachers by their first name, apparently it's disrespectful...), and I remembered Barry Scott from the "Bang, and the dirt is gone" advertisement. I made a mathamatical spoof for him, "Hi, I'm Barry Scott. BANG, and the decimal point is gone!" I got a one hour detention after school, a letter sent home to my parents and a phonecall home. One for Just shouting at the top of my Voice HIIIEYAHH!(like a ninja) I got another one yesterday because i gave the Dude that was Bullying me a Smack stright to the temple. I'm rarely sent out, but I sure have started a lot of sh*t getting other people sent out. That's my thing.. I get pissed if a teacher is being stupid, or disrespectful, and then when I confront them, proving I am right, I am sent outside. Teachers who abuse their powers is something that makes me nauseous. 'The Tick System' * Dun-Dun-DHURN!* 1 Tick = 5 minutes detention 2 Tick = 10 minutes detention. And so on up to 4 ticks. When you get 4 ticks, that's when the teacher gets a pupil in the class to fetch 'On-Call'. Then a senior teacher will come and talk to you outside the room. If you've been really bad, then off you go to 'S10'. The Detention Room. It's like Isolation except you just stay there for the rest of the lesson. And we got some funny reactions.
