Claims it was "Ok because said student did not cry."" What's the story? Here it is. Note: I didn't say any of that stuff. Note: The kid is my homeroom teachers' nephew. The kid is constantly annoying so today he's ranting about "vampires being illegal" (Wtf?) and preaching about Dracula. We all say he doesn't exist. He gets mad and starts to curse. My friends and I decide to throw some goldfish crackers at him to make him shut up. A ki at the table behind us (A goody-goody) says "Why are you bullying him?" I just laugh and ignore him. So I'm presuming he told my teacher. She said "Next time you bully a kid you are going to get suspended. So watch out!" Retarted bully policy in my school >.> 1. Warning 2. Demerit 3. Suspension (Then all this "No go tell" BS) In my school: 10 detentions = Suspension 15 = Expellation I only have 5 detentions. So next time I'm getting suspended (Lol.) My principal also went to the Board of Education and thought of something called a "Double detention" (Lol, once more) So, a detention would be for chewing gum or minor stuff of the likes. A double detention would be for fighting, or using vulgar language. Now, I always hated this kid, last year I got into two fist fights with him, but no one saw. This year during the first week of school we got into a fistfight. <BAM> instant detention. I can understand that, but getting a demerit for throwing GOLDFISH? Now understand EVERYBODY hates this kid. I was going to tell my teacher the other side of the story but she said "I'm not arguing this with you, I'm not going to be your lawyer". Anyone sense some nepitisticness? Not to mention his mother used to teach there and now runs the sports programs. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Another I got last year was for stealing brownies. The detention read "Went into a kid's locker, took out a brownie and ate it." 6 other kids got detentions too. But get this, they had a room you went to and the detention was based on trust I'm f*cking serious, no teacher supervising you were just expected to go to this room and sit there quietly by yourself. She then proceeds to give us a bollocking for touching it... So then while shes shouting at us about this I start laughing at how unbelievably stupid this was whcih got me a detention. In the detention I had to write out the school rules and then put the reason I was put into detention, so I wrote: I touched a book. That teacher was a c*nt. Stupid of me really, the head of year was standing right below it. Most annoying was a detention for missing a compulsory rugby team practice (extra curricular activity I might add) because I didn't get the notice til the day after from my form tutor. We have a game called "Last Man Standing" where you just stay standing in class for as long as you have the balls to, and the last person left wins. You reminded me of something I'm semi-proud of doing. I broke my elementary school's record for most detentions in one year when I was in 5th grade. My record stands at 104. They were so leniant in that school... after elementarty, a couple detentions and you're out the school forever... I had learn how to stop having fun and talking so much. It was agonizing. Kippers Posted January 16, 2009 Share Posted January 16, 2009 (edited) Not really stupid and didn't get puniched but ima type it non the less Me and a few of my mates used to go to the bookroom every lunch time for about a month and throw the books around/build cool sh*t out of them and basically end up completely de-alpheticalising every book in the store room with them eventually ending up in piles on the floor. Got caught red handed for that when the head of English walked in on us and flipped out bad style. He was almsot in tears thinking about having to do it all again. Luckily he just caught us standing there otherwise we'd probably have been straight up suspended. So we claimed we were messing around in the building, saw the room was a mess and curiosity took over and we wondered in. It worked. Had to see the head though, and plain faced lied right to his face about not knowing anything about it. Pinned it on a few other guys who i'd seen earlier that day and got off scot free because I'd never gotten into much trouble in the 11 years I'd been in school. May have sounded like no big deal but it was to the school. Being good actually pays off becuase you can do stupid sh*t, get caught and still get off the hook. Other than that, the only other time I ended up in detention apart from the obvious cba with homework ones, was probably in like year 6 when I wrote a 'rude song' with swearing in it!
