hellawaitsyou
Hey I just stumbled upon AMD fusion, and was wondering if it is a good program, especially for running IV. Wondering what you guys think of it?? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/392477-amd-fusion/ Share on other sites
Corrosion905377
I use it and i like it alot. seems to help a bit with frames as well. Disables background precesses that arent used that take up little CPU and memory. RSANtilles
Well I used it when I had XP Pro (32bit) and GTA IV ran a bit better with it but it did NOT fix the 'slideshow' memory leaks. Then I turned to Vista Ult (64bit) and GTA IV still runs very good with or without Fusion, but yes it can give you that edge for FPS as the last poster said it turns off unnecessary background processes and turns them back on when you turn fusion off. okei
Make sure you've got good CPU cooling if you plan on running it in Advanced or Expert. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/392477-amd-fusion/#findComment-1058881863 Share on other sites

hellawaitsyou
I hope my liquid cooling will do, it still runs a little warm in my case, but thats because of the result of 4 HDDs in it. consulweyer
For me it works fine. 5-7 fps more. i think the main advantage is killing the unused background processes.
