I have not meet that dude yet. I just did my first mission for Reni. That is the weirdo that host the show on LCS, he sounds just like that person.

Vic Vance, some of his comments never stop making me laugh even though they are not meant sarcastically most of the times.

 

He's just so serious it gets funny. But I voted for Lance.

 

"I don't get it, how is stealing one dumb car gonna make us rich?" - That was 'teh lulz'.

 

"Can you say it any louder? I don't think they heard you in Cuba."

 

And when Lance mumbles a lot with the accountant during Taking the Fall and all that. Then Vic comes with one of the funniest things I've heard.

"And you call the accountant 'baby'?"....

I'm asking gamers to admit that they love Reni as a well-designed character; I don't expect anyone to have a crush on Reni, no more than I expect most people who voted in the poll to have a crush on Lance Vance or any of the other character.

 

It's strange that you would get the concepts confused, because to me they are quite distinct.

You're still missing the point. Reni is not funny because he/she is a transsexual, but because of the way Rockstar Games brought that one aspect of the character together with the absurd artsy rants, the relationship with the worshipping assistant, and all that, and made Reni into a great game character.

 

I don't see how you can assume that I find some group of people funny just because of their sexual (or other) preference, when all I have said is that I find the Reni game character funny. Are you yourself a transsexual? Is that why you keep bringing it up? I'm talking about a funny game character, but you keep gravitating toward the real world transsexuals. Not that I mind if you are, but this discussion should really be about which of the VCS characters is the most funny.

As opposed to the Ricardo Diaz in VC. He was alot funnier and laid back in VCS.

Well, to clarify: what I tried (and possibly failed) to get across was that a game character is a game character, and should be judged as such, rather than to turn a discussion about which game character is more funny into something, as I view it, unrelated.

I seriously doubt they did it to be controversial. They just wanted to make an artsy character more over the top. S/he was quite funny in my opinion.

 

In fact most of them were funny. I'd say it's one of the funniest GTA games, probably because it was a sort of a "last hurrah" for the OTT stuff and really wanted to go wild. Phil crashing into the wall was just hilarious. Even Phil Collins' inclusion was somewhat funny and suitably fitting.
