Im using the farclip tweaked to 3500 (instead of original 1500) + 100% to detail and view distances, yes itll "hammer" your system a bit more, im using the tweak to increase my view distance. MonkeyMhz Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 @ MrNutjobmonkeymhz's "ultimate performance fix" is not sh*tty, it does exactly what he describes. but like almost every tweak found so far it's highly dependend on the actual system and ingame setup. some get more fps, some not. True, my performance tweak simply did what you can now do ingame, it turns your shadows, reflections, water quality to low (regardless your resolution). Since you can do that now ingame, with the patch's, that old performance tweak I wrote up is now useless. This, is just a LOD/Draw Distance modification, looks good. It helps my laptop since its a slow CPU. Just to sum it up to you understand. My old performance tweak set Water Quality, Reflection Quality, Shadow Quality all to low regardless your resolution so that helped people who had a weaker GPU than CPU, since those settings are all mainly GPU intensive.
