Tommi_Vercetti
Dudes, i really can't understand why Rockstar made a state called San Andreas /: In the first GTA game (I'v never play it, but anyway) San Andreas were city, a San Fransisco based town? Why could'nt Those Guys make a city like GTA back in days!? like San Fransisco Bay Area ..why not, but the title should still be San Andreas ...and it will be set in 1989!? Mainland Marauder
Well, I think when San Andreas was first referred to on the radio in the earlier games, it was to be just a single city that may or may not have been in the plans for a future game, but in the development it was decided to be extended to a state with three major cities. Things happen like that. I'm glad they did. Having three distinct cities, a few smaller towns and a countryside to explore was most cool. There are still places I have not explored or know about in the whole state, and there are places I don't even want to drive-through because they just feel plain scary even if all the myths are just bullsh*t. lil weasel
I'll Add... Why? The diverse setting is much better. Why limit the game to one terrain, and mafia only criminals. (And why can't Italians swim?) Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/391689-san-andreas/#findComment-1058877049 Share on other sites

Thirdeded. And forthed on the "What?" comment. San Andreas has and still has the largest area of gameplay so that makes it amazing. Im glad that they went that far, also.
