App crash

Hey guys,

 

everytime i run GTA4, it crashes after a few min. playing in online and offline.

I get this problem as well. It started happening after I installed the latest NVIDIA drivers (182.06). I did a clean install of it: went to Safe Mode uninstalled the video adapter, ran Driver Sweeper, installed new drivers. Prior to that the game would run perfectly.

 

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 3.2GHz (OCed)

3GB Corsair Dominator DDR2-800 RAM (3-4-3-9 @ 2.4V)

Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit SP1 (build 6001)

2x GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB (SLI mode)

 

My copy was downloaded over Steam and the integrity has been checked, files defragged as well. This is the latest version (1.0.2).
