But i wonder seeing that Windows xp, vista is also Microsoft does that mean we might have the slightest chance it will come on pc for us? For comparison, the goal of the GTA Stories games was to sell PSPs, but eventually they were also released for the PS2. However they were never ported to Xbox or PC which would compete with Sony. That's a very clear component to the exclusivity. There's no way you can get this content without connecting to Microsoft's online service because once you do that you're likely to dump more money into it. isn't it about the same thing Go to the store and buy an Xbox 360 game and put it into your PC and see what happens. Again, this is content that requires you to familiarize yourself with a very specific service that Microsoft provides: Xbox Live. Obviously you need a 360 to get access as well. Jonny04 Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 Its nothing to do with PC its about selling Xbox 360s, selling Xbox Live Gold because a large percentage may wish to renew or buy a copy to then play TLAD online with, ie play with the new multi modes. Its unlikely to come to PC because Microsoft will gain nothing from it doing so, they do not need to see Windows sales increase from GTA because they won't and live for PC is free. Its all about saying we have money, we want it on our system, and no Sony you failed to be the market leader for gaming in the 7th gen of consoles, and its a shame they did because the only game I have really to enjoy is Socom Confrontation and maybe GT5. I enjoy my 360 alot more on like Cod, Fifa 09, and so on. And oh yeh 14 million COD4 players online, and 10 million of them were "Unique Gamertags" playing on 360, 3 to 1 sales, thats impressive, and that IS why GTA has exclusive content for the 360, because they want the 360 to be No1, which it is. CharmingCharlie Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 I don't think it will be all that easy to convert the DLC to the PC, we have to remember that Rockstar will be aware of the PC's erm "abilities" shall we say and I imagine they will take precautions to ensure the DLC cannot be modified to run on the PC if they haven't already taken steps to ensure the PC cannot run the DLC. If the DLC is a new executable, that will put the brakes on a PC conversion. It would be like trying to convert Liberty City Stories to a GTA III mod, the older executable wouldn't know what to do with the new features.
