It's most certainly going to be a disaster movie, and at the end of the trailer it advises people who want to know more to simply google "2012". I'm going to wait til maybe August 2012 before I start cashing in on it, so I can get a good idea of how many people believe it and what they're doing to prepare for it. That way I can make a good decision on how to cash in on their stupidity. Also, I read that the Mayan calendar is like an odometer in a car. Once the numbers reach 9, it just goes back to zero. So the Mayan calendar doesn't "end" really, it just starts over. And I guess the Mayans also said that there would be some great change when this happens, but that can probably be attributed to their religion. They feared so whenever any little cultist set a date for the Apocalypse. You know, by my town there is an old warship. Packed with explosives. If that exploded me and my family would be dead, my whole town demolished. And yet no one worries. If the end comes then you cannot delay it or stall it. But you can't set dates, it's just silly. Go to google and type in: "the most important image ever taken" by the hubble telescope... If you watch that 9 min video.. it shows a dark patch of space that scientists used the strongest telescope on earth to zoom in for two weeks and take a large image. In that dark dead area of sky that they looked at, they found hundreds of millions of galaxies all containing millions of stars. seriously but after watching that, the idea that we are the only intelligent life in the universe is ridiculous. No one predicted 9/11. A bunch of crackpots took some quotes from the bible (I think) and claimed they predicted the 9/11 terrorist attacks, despite the fact that the quotes could mean a number of things because they were so vague.
