A different MP problem

How come when I load up the game it tells me I have signed in to Windows Live, yet when I try to go online (via phone in game) it states that I must be signed in to go online. I press Home that bring up the Windows Live menu and there is no Sign in button but there is a Sign out button, which I presume means I am already signed in. How come? what can I do? confused.gif
