The Textures are great but I do not like the car handling or user controls. I have not tried to modify the default buttons but it just does not seem as smooth as San Andreas Vice or Liberty City. Ramon is so annoying. The side games suck i.e.; pool darts. The game itself is slow moving. I am early into this game. Hopefully it will get more exciting as it goes on Plus, all cars are either to slow or are to easy to spin out. Turning radius is crap too. No hydrolics on cars that I have seen. I don't know why they changed the control buttons around. Driving had been so much more fun in previous releases Does anyone feel the same? They're just like the previous games, but only a few minor differences. I personally thought it was a great game. It was good considering it was R*'s first attempt at making a next-gen GTA. I think the driving is great in GTA IV, but I did practice a fair bit, as I started off the game like a granny driving a winnebago. I think the driving in IV is way better than the old games, because it actually feels like you have to use a bit of common sense to drive in IV. There's been plenty of times where I've gone to turn, but my front wheels have locked up (understeer), and gone straight ahead, because I didn't apply my brakes at the right time. Exactly the opposite… I have the PC version, and the driving controls are phenomenal compared to the last three PC releases of GTA. San Andreas (my favorite game) had the worst driving out of all the GTA’s, and I was glad they improved it on GTA IV. Before the PC release, I had read several complaints about the driving controls… the only thing I can come up with is maybe a controller is harder to use than a keyboard, but I don’t know, it’s just a guess. On the other hand, the On-Foot controls really stink… Niko constantly walks into things, and I have a hard time getting him to walk through simple areas, such as a doorway… he makes these weird u-turns instead of just going where I want him to go… this may be a situation where a controller may work better, but again I don’t know. One gripe I have is Poor old Ammunation is gone- what happened to Ammunation? It's in almost all of the other GTA Games except this one. There's also not as many clothing styles or options as far as clothing goes as there was in San Andreas and Liberty City Stories. Only 2 comedians in the comedy club- Katt Williams and Ricky Gervais- I think they could have done better than only two. I also think Rockstar should of at least had some characters from previous liberty city games. Like maybe the Leone Family. I also wanted a feature where you could like go out with multiple friends at once. Like inviting Little Jacob, Roman, and Brucie to like go bowling at the same time. Like having all four of us do something together, but it won't let you do that in the game. I also miss the rampages too, like what they had in GTA III- those little skulls and cross bones you would pick up and it would give you a weapon and say like "Kill 50 people using a flamethrower in 3 minutes" or something like that. I was also expecting to be able to blow up buildings too. I had a rocket launcher and I like fired it at this building, and the building had no damage to it whatsoever, how realistic is that?
