Wasnt an easy to make video but i got it in the end. Had problems to render all the effects in vegas, so decided to render different scenes extra audio and then render it all together for the finished version. Not everyone will be happy with the style of this movie but i think some will get satisfied. For those who are interrested... The Facts: Tools= GTA4 Video Editor/Fraps/Magix Movie Maker/Vegas Studio Video was made out of 10 lines: 2 video lines 3 audio lines 5 effect lines And now its time to thrill : Ghostrider 2 Well you should not watch it before you go to bed. Well when you read his post you will recognize that he even did not watch the video to the end. The "psycho driving" ends in 1:30 but the vid is 2:50 long. You are right with the aspect ratio. I wrote it in my first post i had weird problems to render this one. I had to rerender all parts and got different ratios. Did you really watch it to the end? It has a plot and some effects... And to the Ghost Rider: You should watch some videos from Europes Ghost Rider. He really is a crazy biker. However, from an artistic point of view I did find it rather sterile. It didn't really make me "feel" much beyond watching a normal session of playing GTA. It had little flavour or personality of its own. Do please take this as positive criticism though, because if you have a passion for making movies it will inevitably take you time and experience before you hone your skills. Purely as an observer I would say try and avoid camera angels that we players find too familiar. Also try and engage the viewer in the action a little more, i.e. think of the camera (us) as alive and part of the scene. Use effects sparingly to exaggerate experiences rather than relying on them to create a sensation that was not already there. And most importantly, if at all possible, try not to get too defensive... if people don't like your work, use that to your advantage. You are right with the camera angles. It s really more interresting to watch stuff you do not see ingame all the time. Its not easy to get one ride from different scenes. I tried some other angles too but they would have confused the watcher too much. I decided to make a normal start for the video with no special scenes. So the watcher gets a boost of excitement from beginning to the end. Well im still in a learning process to make interresting videos with the editor. Looking forward to present better vids but critisism like yours really help. Sometimes when making a video and you ve spent hours working on it you loose the ability to see your project fromt the watchers sight. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
