anus
Try uninstalling the game and restarting and then installing the game. You could also try copying the patch files to the GTA IV directory and running the patch from there.

Disposable
There are 'special' ways to avoid Windows 7 expiring if you know what I mean . I don't know what you mean please explain JK Just read up about it... 2.5m copies with keys for free but its dies on august 2009, i'm to lazy i'll stick with vitsa
anus
i'm pretty sure that you would format and reinstall your OS atleast once by August 2009, right? So it won't matter. Or you could just use the 'special' methods to activate 7 fully. This is the best way IMO and it isn't hard either.

anus
Well you have to paste it in the GFWL folder and IV folder I think. But xlive.dll shouldn't be missing in the first place. Reinstall GFWL and update it.
BolgAryan
ya... at least you can install GFWL. when i try to install it keeps popping up requiring xp sp2 no matter that i have set this crap to run as xp sp2...

Smiler-Online
I got GTAIV working on W7 x64 by doing the following: 1. Install it (obviously) 2. updated the GFWL client through another GFWL based game (Halo 2 in particular) 3. set both LaunchGTAIV.exe & GTAIV.exe to run in Windows 2000 compatabillity mode (which stopped it from asking for certain service packs!) and 4. manually installed the patch (I didn't try installing it through GFWL, so I can't comment on whether it is possible to do...)
