Hi!

This map, it says: Some characters only appear at certain in game times of day!

So, someone who knows when they appear? A list or something?

Thanks!

What happens if I accidentally kill one of them? Are they turning back?

'Cause i did when i was new in this game.. biggrin.gif

yes, i know about the rule that whatever you do, it can't stop you from getting 100%, but i just want to be sure smile.gif

Like which one? You can kill Cherise during a mission and she won't show up, but that won't affect getting 100%. And a few end up dead at a certain point also. Who are you talking about?

The characters appear after completing certain storyline missions, which is why it’s recommended you do the random character missions after completing the game. Of course they will only be at their meeting points at certain times of the day (morning, afternoon & night) with only one character showing up at a specific time (Eddie Low).

Ivan, Cherise and Clarence are the only known random characters which you could kill in the game's storyline. I have stumble across Cherise and Ivan, but I wasn't aware about Clarence being a random character until I was nearly in the end of the storyline and looked up the random characters list in gta4.net (to avoid spoilers). I happened to kill Clarence using a sniper rifle from afar during "Holland Nights", which answers why I was never even offered the choice to spare or kill him.

Now I'm unsure if I could achieve 100% completion simply because of this.

You can still get 100% completion. Cherise, Clarence, Ivan and strangely Jeff are not required for the mentioned percentage. So it doesn’t matter how you interact with them or how you may decide to kill them during the events of which you first meet them.

That's kinda inconsistent. I was under the impression all random characters count, since they were mentioned to add 5% in the game progress. Of course, I might fail to attain the "No More Strangers" achievements though.

I wonder if there are trainers to enable random characters that are already dead?

Brian x3, Mel, Badman, Ilyena, Sara x2, Marnie x2, Hossam, Gracie and Eddie x2 are the only ones required for 100%. EDIT: and Pathos x2. Knew I'd forget someone biggrin.gif

As for the achievement, meet the ones left alive, once you have met all the alive random characters you will get it, if you killed any or all of Ivan, Cherise and Clarence then you do NOT need to visit them for the achievement.

OK. I spared Clarence but I'm now having trouble finding him at the spot all the guides say (checked at night and day). Something ain't right.
