potbelly221
hy all my first post ,please bare with me. I have been running gta 4 on a alienware amd 64 fx 57 2.81 ghz and 2 gigs of ram. with 2 8800 gt sli cards. THIS GAME IS MORE DEMANDING than CRYSIS. AT first I installed the new Nvidia Beta [180.84] and every time i would try to exit ,and sometime load or save gta IV it would have the blue screen of the damned. I went back to nvidia driver 180.48 and no more blue screen at exit, saving or loading. its been a week now. I just thought i'd throw my worthless 2 cents in. Also is there any hope for a second patch? Even this pc is way outdated for this great game. (time to upgrade to a better one) . But when you think of it , I run fallout fine, gears of war, and even Crysis, you would think they could have made this great game a little less demanding for the old pc user. Well that's why there is a minimum and recommended requirements. You're playing on a 3 1/2 old single core CPU. No patch will solve that.
