Pixelated
So what did Rockstar do to GTA IV with patch 1.0.2.0? More specifically what did they do to disable the car handling mod I had made (handling.dat) plus the real car names mod (american.gtx) was also disabled. I also saw in the GTA IV patch read me that they had hard coded vehicle handing data? I don't know. Just curious what they did and what it has been affected. If it's not too much to explain that would be great thanks.
Gforce
No mods of any kind cannot be done to the 360 and ps3 versions of the game . Werent the first GTA IV mods for 360? yes they were. however, the game modding tools were never released to the public, and game modding on the console, requires modding of the console itself or the use of an ftp hardware tool that sits between the console and the HDD, and you end up banned from XBL if you get caught, because it is allegedly illegal to do so. @Pixelated, they hardcoded some of the moddable files into the game engine exe file
GammaRaptor
Who would want to mod gta iv on the 360 when the PC version just does the same thing... Also there is a way of not getting banned but i won't speak of that.

SparkIV or OpenIV open WTDs, from that tool you can export/import BMPs.

ircmaster
I was making a Big Boss skin for Niko and I have one problem. So far everything looks good except the fact that the eye patch doesn't cover the model for the eye. It only covers the face which only has the eyelids. So right now you see a big eyepatch with an eye coming through it and obviously that's not how I want it. I know I didn't really explain it good and if you don't understand I'll get a screenshot but I hope that won't be necessary. Anyway, if you can help me out I'll really appreciate it. Djwid63
since we can import models of vehicles to IV, is it now possible to edit the Niko model according to our liking?
Fabio206
since we can import models of vehicles to IV, is it now possible to edit the Niko model according to our liking? You must wait for next version of dff2wdr or a new function in zmodeler for wdr files..

silvermanblue
Which prog i can open *.asi files?? You need the source code to decompile an asi. Now on to my question. While playing around with the vehicle selector mod I noticed that the lightbar on the cop cars is an extra. I need to find where the model and tex is for this. I am also looking for a way to change the red light to a blue light in the lightbar. Leone Family Mafia ПРОПАГАНДА.ИНЦ, СИЛВЕРМАНБЛУЕ
