Withnail73
I get that and I have an 8600, too. Latest drivers, according to Vista...if that can be trusted!
anus
Try these XtremeG 185.20 modded drivers. Remember to uninstall your current driver, then run DriverCleaner in Safe Mode and then install the drivers I linked to. Btw, if you don't want the modded drivers, you can get the official nVidia 185.20 BETA drivers here (Vista 32Bit) or here (Vista 64Bit).
masterpdisaster
I believe it's coming from the moving world shadows, so it might be game related. *shrug
Sorkenlol
The game has really bad shadows. If I'm right they disappear if you change the resolution to your monitors native resolution or higher, or put the textures on high. Not sure though, it's one of those. Oh and, I have the 8600 GT aswell, get the 185 beta driver, it's damn good. Fixed alot of texture problems, made it look better and gave me an additional 7-8 fps. chsoriano
No... the poor shadows are still present even when at the native resolution, and with textures on high. The game just has bad shadows.
