johnsonlithiumchloride
is that Jason who appeared in the lost and damned trailer is the same Jason that we killed in gtaIV?
Damo.
Yes... The Lost and Damned takes place before Niko comes to LC Not confirmed. Hints in the story suggest to me that it runs parallel. And yes, it is Jason.
LitoBX
The Lost and Damned will be placed before and durring Niko's time. Meaning their will be live characters that will die.
imthatkiwiguy
How many times are people going to ask about Jason, there are so many other posts about the same topic!
JOSEPH X
Yes... The Lost and Damned takes place before Niko comes to LC Not necessarily, "No Love Lost" is the 17th mission in the game. Plus you unlock the procedural missions "Most Wanted", "Exotic Exports", "Vigilante" and "Taxi Fare". Add to that, dating Michelle and activities with Roman and you could be talking many, many game days before you get to meet Jason, In all probability it starts when Niko gets off the boat, after all, isn`t that when the diamonds arrive (remember the opening titles, where they were baked into a birthday cake) and isn`t that what a big part of the story is about? What puzzles me is that "No Love Lost" takes place before any of the bridges are open and The Lost are based in Alderney! How are R* going to reconcile this fact? The same goes for Johnny in "Blow Your Cover". Are they gonna just ignore the bridge closures in the DLC? If so, that`s a bit careless imo. What I`m hoping is that this whole diamond thing is dealt with early on and the story moves on to the five families, the Pegorinos are only small time (they`re not even on the commission) so I don`t think that R* would give them the starring role. I guess we have to wait to find out
Derelict Frog
Roman says at the beginning that it'd be hard for Niko to cross the bridges because he does not have a visa. Assuming these bikers are born in America then presumably they can cross the bridges fine.

That's what I was thinking too, although a lot of the news bulletins on the radio made it sound as though the bridges were closed off to everyone. Magic_Al
I don't envy Rockstar having to come up with roadblock excuses every game.

No its not confirmed but unless he comes back as a ghost, I think that its safe to say that the part with jason in will take part before his death in the main story

No its not confirmed but unless he comes back as a ghost, I think that its safe to say that the part with jason in will take part before his death in the main story "The download will feature a new main character and the story will intersect with main game's storyline." source: http://xboxlive.ign.com/articles/932/932234p1.html "...and will leave Niko's story behind (though he will make a few cameo appearances) to follow the exploits of Johnny Klebitz..." source: http://kotaku.com/5093975/gtaiv-dlc-announ...d-out-in-feb-09 "In the original game, Niko crossed paths with The Lost several times. This time, Niko has only a bit part, Houser says. "The story is not directly impacted by decisions you took in the main game," he says. But "tons of details and mysteries from the main story get explained, so it will add a lot of color to the main story"." source: http://www.usatoday.com/tech/gaming/2008-1...ta-damned_N.htm Sounds to me that atleast some of TLAD will take place at the same time as Niko's story

You cant get from alderney to Algonquin on a subway, or use them as Niko until the bridges are open. BTW, its also a shame you cant move around on them while they are in motion
