I'm almost finished with the game and I have a question. Who is it better to leave alive, Roman or Kate? I know Roman gives you free taxi rides, but does Kate give you anything if she remains alive after the final mission?

 

I really want to go Revenge, but I don't want Pegerino to kill Kate.

I also want the money, but I like Roman's free taxi rides and don't want Dmitri to kill Roman.

 

What should I do?

Kill Kate, she dont give you any punani and she'll just criticize you on your clothing and car. Shes also ugly and she wants you to look like a bum

Take the REVENGE path. It's soooooooooo much better.

 

When you take the DEAL path, you're going to get Roman killed. This sucks because Roman would be lost as one of your only 5 friends that you can have at the end of the game. This also sucks because he's family while Kate is just a dumb ho that Packie tries to hook you up with.

Kate doesn't give you anything for dating her. The other women in the game (besides being better looking) actually have useful rewards for dating them. Kate is useless.

 

It also really sucks killing Roman because then you lose his free taxi ability which is great for getting across all 3 islands in a matter of seconds without having to pay 60 bucks.

 

The DEAL path gets you 250,000 bucks but you don't need it after the bank robbing mission. And plus, if you choose REVENGE and beat the game, you'll get 250 grand anyway after Pegorino is dead.

 

Do the REVENGE path. You don't need Kate.

 

and screw spoiler tags, this game has been out so long that if you haven't beat it yourself or gotten this far then you should just stop playing anyway because you stink

For at least 75% of people playing this game, it's not their first time. Most people have beaten GTA4 on their console already. It's been out so long that there really aren't any spoilers. That would be like trying to talk about Super Mario without giving away the ending.......

 

What's the big flipping deal anyway?

 

You know everyone (especially if it's their first time playing) who gets to this part in the game will go and look up FAQ's to find out the best choice. Just like you did when you had to choose between PlayboyX and Dwayne. I know I did. It's not a huge plot spoiler, you know someone has to die. It's not like it gives away the whole ending as if anyone couldn't figure it out anyway.
