Jc84144 Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 I can tell you that it's not the same as on the xbox 360 or Ps3. If I got as close to the TV as I am to my monitor while playing the consol version of GTA 4, it was a LOT more blurred, and looked like I was looking at everything through an oil painting filter. However, on the PC with it activated it's a lot less blurred, and there is no feeling I'm looking at it through a water colour or oil painting filter. Rockstar even said the effect would be reduced on the PC. Not that I ever minded it on the console, when at a reasonable distance from the TV (2 or more meters) it become almost invisible, and helped to give the feeling of depth.
