blur effect

I wanted to tell to most of the gta 4 pc players that motionblur effect (the one in ps3 and x 360) needs to be activated with the "p" key.

in most of the forums and screen shots i have noticed absence of motion blur..

Of course, the blur "effect" is simply horrible.

I think thats because it makes the graphics look terrible (well in my opinion anyway)

 

Besides that, its very old news theres a a few threads on here about tweaking it, in an attempt to reduce the blur on objects in close proximity

I can tell you that it's not the same as on the xbox 360 or Ps3.

 

If I got as close to the TV as I am to my monitor while playing the consol version of GTA 4, it was a LOT more blurred, and looked like I was looking at everything through an oil painting filter. However, on the PC with it activated it's a lot less blurred, and there is no feeling I'm looking at it through a water colour or oil painting filter. Rockstar even said the effect would be reduced on the PC.

 

Not that I ever minded it on the console, when at a reasonable distance from the TV (2 or more meters) it become almost invisible, and helped to give the feeling of depth.
