-vilx- Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 BEFORE UPDATE ---------------------------------------------- when iwas just driving around and when it was sunny, then i got 15-20 fps, but when it was raining, i got around 10-15 fps benchmark test showed this: Average FPS: 29.93 Duration: 37.12 sec CPU Usage: 87% System memory usage: 91% Video memory usage: 83% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 800 x 600 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: Low Render Quality: Low View Distance: 1 Detail Distance: 1 Video Driver version: 162.18 AFTER UPDATE ----------------------------------------------------- driving around in the city -------- sunny weather - 25-30fps, sometines even ~35 | rainy weather - 15- 20fps benchmark test showed: Average FPS: 31.58 Duration: 37.12 sec CPU Usage: 86% System memory usage: 91% Video memory usage: 84% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 800 x 600 (60 Hz) Texture Quality: Medium Render Quality: High View Distance: 25 Detail Distance: 37 Video Driver version: 180.84 how much did it help you ? Sorkenlol Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 Go for 185.20 instead, I had 178 before, and now it runs real smooth. Before the driver update I had about 15-20 fps with the lowest settings with 35 vechile density and 1024x768 (?) and now I can play with texture detail at high, rendering at high and the same vechile density and resolution with 22-30 fps.
