Deeto Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 I routinely get this message while playing multiplayer. One moment I'm in game and everything is great, the next I get a black screen that says something like: The connection to other players has been lost. Start a new game? When I say no, it kicks me back to SP mode. What's stranger is that once I go back in the MP browser, the game I was just in is still up and running, and I can see other people joining it. However, if I try to rejoin that game room the screen says loading and then kicks me right back to the multiplayer browser with no message or error. My Internet connection is rock solid, so I'm a bit confused why this happens. Anyone else have this issue? Anything I can do to solve it or make it happen less often? Spuds725 Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 I'm on PS3 (and Commodore 64) and will occasionally get that disconnect message-- the lobby system is different on PS3 so I can't see the game I was kicked from-- but if I get an invite back to that game, I will get a message saying I cannot join a game I was "kicked" from-- although the reason for my disconnect is not a kick. I'm betting it won't let you rejoin the previous game for the same reason (even though you are not getting that message)-- like the PS3 version, it is just another programming bug I bet.
