OabAli Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 - "Head popping" wit da m4, deagle, sniper rifle, etc - Minigun, Chainsaw, dildos, combat shotgun, sawn-off (esp. double +inifinte ammo cheat), satchel charges - AMMUNATION!!! + hi-larious radio ads - dual wielding weapons - Parachute - Recruiting homies/gang members (even just for the fudge of it - driving around, taking pics, drive bys at cops) - Gang wars - Fat & muscle - larger range of clothing - Killing drug dealers (for easy $2000) - BURGLAR side mission - that was my favorite, never got old! - Ambulance, Firefighter, Taxi, Hunter vigilante, pimping - Easier handling (i.e. powersliding, turning, motorbike skill etc.) - The blur effect that you get when driving fast - Car customization - HYDRAULICS, NITRO, PAINT JOBS, TIRES, etc. (at least let us choose the color of our car at Pay n Spray! I h8 getting ugly colors ) - combine harvester, tank, hydra, lawnmower , monster truck, shamal, tow truck, buffalo - Jack Howitzer (Exploder, remember?), Mike Toreno, Ken Rosenberg, Phil Cassidy, The Truth, Woozie, Kent Paul - The great modern hip-hop station (based on era) - Beat 102.7 is inferior compared to Radio Los Santos (SA), Wildstyle (VC), Fresh 105 (VCS), The Liberty Jam (LCS), even Game Radio (III) And a lot more... bldrgnslyr Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 i miss all these things aswell, but you must admit, if rockstar hadnt made everything more realistic and prettier they wouldve been condemned for not progressing the series. i think no matter what a games developer does to evolve a series people will say "they shouldve done this" or "kept this". its just how the industry works. dragontrainer Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 I miss getting the minigun and camping at a pay and spray until eventually the army brings me a tank then spending the next few hours doing vigilante missions. I know it`s not realistic but it was so much damned fun and I reckon it would work even better with the new wanted level radius instead of the star bribes thingy. Also falling of high buildings isn`t as gut wrenching now the camera goes into cinematic mode once it knows your dead. Used to nearly make my bladder let go before, now it`s just ehm.. ok boring. If you think about GTA SA they had nearly 30 races in GTA 4 you only get 9. It's a pity they didn't give you a few more races, ho well maybe the next one. I also miss the planes. Rockstar said, if they add planes then the map would be penetrated very easily. I also saw before, that 95% of missions are murdering someone. That's true, people will always complain, but things like more weapons, parachute and being able to fly planes would add to the realism more than anything. There are obviously certain things that they had to remove to keep the realism, but for a lot of the things that are "missing" there doesn't seem to be much justification, other than to maybe boost DLC sales Was anyone else disappointed with the radio stations? In all previous GTA's (including 1 and 2) I'd sit in a parked car for ages listening to the hilarious chat stations and radio ads, with IV I when I first started playing I cruised the city and checked out the radio stations, but it just wasn't there somehow Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You bail out half way down and watch them plummet to their explosive deaths at the bottom while you just cruise on down with your chute. Never even got a wanted star. Ahhhh, happy days. Haha, never tried that. Another awesome thing is to get into a car with more than 1 or more passengers (or a taxi), drive it towards the sea and then jump right out before it smashes into the water, love that.
