Now or Never

The point of this post is that we chat a litle about what do we do beside the misions in the game, like when we do something just for fun stealing or kiling, driving cars etc.So what do you do in GTA IV to have fun.

I like doing crazy drving with a car or a bike at the same time running over somebody.

PEACE tounge2.gif .

nothing at all, once I'm done with all missions I'm uninstalling the game and that's about it, multiplayer doesn't interest me.

Explore the game.

Jump down from rooftops, see who hits the ground between me and a molotov, spawn a bike/car on rooftops, shove people infront of trains/down stairs, drift, stunt, shoot, rob, kill, drive and kill dating fags on [email protected] Thats about it i think.

I kill people, I smuggle people and I sell people.

LOL. I go around the city and just drive. GTAIV is unlike GTAVC and SA, because when you go around the city you feel that the city is alive. See that hotdog vendor at the corner. Drive through the bay with people sitting on benches eating, talking and watching the sunset. In the evening there are hookers and people getting mugged. Drive like this in VC and SA any you'll just see the same old peds doing the same old things reacting the same old way.

I've played the game for months and completed it many times, but still find so much to explore in Liberty City (I agree about how real the city seems).

I have a penchant for police sieges. Often flying over the city and finding a medium height building to land on (musn't be too high), and lob grenades over the side to attract the police, and start the siege and see how long I can last. Shooting down helicopters and trying to explode the police vehicles with a grenade from up on high, etc. The police get pretty darned mad, and you soon rack up the wanted stars. There is a building in Alderney, not far from the safehouse, and up a side track where you do one of the mission chases. It has a ladder to a next level. If you start your siege from up there, you can swat the police off the ladder with the bat as they come up. They just never stop coming up! The things they shout out: "I'm Going For Glory....!!" But they get you in the end of course. Ho hum. cool.gif

I rob stores smile.gif

How do you rob stores in GTA 4?

In some stores you can brake the cash desk and you can get the money.

PS: somewere you can get 200$.

Not all stores work for me. The Russian Store for example doesn't. I have to go to the Laundromat Vlad send you to in "Hung out to dry" .

I think you meant, for a month biggrin.gif Kidding aside sieges are a nice way to get back weapons lost after being busted. I do them in my apartments, atop the stairs, better be ready for head shots though. When swat appears take down a few, well i mostly wait till some one brings in an m4, wait till im dangerously low on Health then... SAVEGAME! When the cops are gone gather the guns. I ussualy end up with 350 m4 ammo, 400 pistol ammo, 80-90 shotgunshells.

P.S i wonder if i can make a TV program mod? Learned a lot from "the History of Liberty City". Also found out women can have ruby breast implants. And that the war against the english was won with the liberty statue, english soldiers died laughing upon seeing a giant transvestite, martian eating an icecream.

Haito, I did mean months. I have other games which I put in the PS3 and play for a short while, but end up going back to GTA IV for another session, and so it goes on.....

Yeah sieges are a good way of getting ammo, especially the ones carried by the swat guys. They do creep up on you though very stealthily don't they?

I can assure you that English soldiers would not die laughing at seeing a giant transvestite martian eating an ice cream - they see such sights on our TV every weekend.

Oh and the Liberty Statue was a present from France to the USA. Nothing to do with a war against the English - who told you that stuff? Or did you make it up!!!!!

My bad for the month thing.

I told you guys I watch TV lol.gif before ending a session. The History of Liberty City part 1:lol:

Not just swat, the fat guys are often the 1st to come from the back entrance. The apartment in hove can be problematic but the 2nd one works great. Oh oh try lobbing molotov on the piled corpses too works pretty well as a barricade. Maybe i'll make a short video on that, unless someone else beats me to the punch.

I like to pick up hookers in Bohan, and I drive them to the unfinished bridge in Bohan and park so that their door is touching the edge of the bridge. After I pay them, they open their door, get out of the car, and then they fall in the water. It's pretty funny.

Vive La France

I enjoy trying to do Parkour on random objects. It's fun. Also launching yourself into traffic and trying to see the ragdoll mode bounce you from car to car is fun.

Today I was hanging around Alderney and jumping into the trucks with the gravel in the back. It's funny when you fall over, Niko looks like a bum who just feel asleep. Also, if you grab onto the side of the trucks with MSL on the front, you don't fall off when he drives away, and Euphoria kicks in to make Niko flails his legs around.

  • 2 weeks later...

i like going around with a baseball bat and whackin people round the head while they are sitting on the benches or on the seats in the hospital, and then blowing the place up with grenades and fighting off swarms of cops.
