reznor Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 On 20 January, it will be 1 month GTAIV on PC is out (I add 2 weeks because of the Christmas holiday) The 20 January it’s in 12 days, and it will be time to take stock on the fixes made by Rockstar on the most awaited and most Bugged Game . Meanwhile, Mirro's Edge and other games* come out and I sincerely hope that Rockstar will do everything so that GTAIV does not fall into oblivion. The cars look great, handling lacks a bit though, too bouncyand slides a lot, the plot is nice, the activities you can do is refreshing. I also found this game more mature, no not the boobies or any of that sort, this is the 1st GTA game that i actually role played, and it's going to be a shame if R* leaves this game in this kind of state, since i actually like where this series is heading. Considering the serious revenue that the PC versions bring R* in, I seriously doubt they would leave it in such a state, the question is when will it be fixed as opposed to if. Yes!! thats why R* spent so long on the little touches that make it one of the best games Ever! Its harsh to say that just because there a commercial corporation that they don't care about the product they manufacturer, Its just they care more about the money! for that fact alone, thats why i'm not a suit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zero You like this game don't you? To actually read the disclaimer and that holowatchamacallit:D This ain't the best game, it's just more interesting now, cause from GTAIII to SA R* has been using the same formula; dumb, uninteresting storyline+more vehicles+biggerislands+more mature content. We all got tired of that, for the 1st time i actually felt immersed in a GTA game, same reason i liked BULLY. So i'd say R* didn't made the best game, they only made an interesting game. The best game would run smoothly from the get go, with the recommended specs . I like GTAIV so R* better fix this or i won't buy another R* game till it hits the bargain bin P.S Too bad for those who played all the missions once, uninstalled, and sold their copy on ebay. Why ? nobody knows Many people no longer play to GTAIV since December 15 and are awaiting for a patch . Perso, i think it's the lack of competition in "GTA-Like" that is causes it, Rockstar are the only ones to make GTA (except THQ, which simply copied) I really hope that the "V" will be fewer bugs . Really hope R* will fix the numerous issues with the game in the near future. R*'s reputation as a reliable, trustworthy and qualitative developer is tainted due to this PC release.
