shadowpope17
Because your graphics card is a bit underpower
CharmingCharlie
Let me try and give you some perspective on this. You have settings nearly twice that of a console and your PC has a graphics card that is probably 50% worse than the consoles gpu. So you either have to lower the settings or replace the card, if you want to lower the settings then I would look at Low on textures and low on rendering with view distance and detail distance set to under 20. ViperInterface
yea I get framerates like that with all settings at minimum, and it doesnt matter if I turn the view distance or detail or shadows or textures or rendering, only thing that affects my framerates is resolution, and thats only by 1 or 2 fps from max to min. I have heard people suggest upgrading to a newer gpu, but i have seen lots of people with Radeon 4870's and newer nvidia cards complaining of the same problem, so Im not up for spending a couple hundred bucks on a new graphics card so I can play a $50 game. All my other games run fine including crysis. Specs: AMD Athlon64 X2 2.6ghz 4GB DDR2 800 A-data memory 320GB WD Sata HD ATi Radeon X1950 512MB PCI-e GPU Windows Vista Ultimate-64 bit I run about 15-20 fps with stuttering with all settings on min
