It's strange how your able to use any gamesave, yet I use a 100% gamesave (not mine) and it says Load Failed. Check your hard drive again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My game is only able to make a new save, and I noticed how the xliveless is supposed to make a new folder for the saves, yet it just makes a new user_.... something in my app data. anus Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 Try this, remove the Xliveless mod completely and then reapply it. Start a new game and save your game. Doesn't matter when, just save it. Then go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\ for Vista or %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\ for XP and paste your save file there. I think that the folders not being created by Xliveless is a sign of the mod not being applied properly for some reason. If that still doesn't work, download a save from the Savegames Arena topic in this forum and try it out. If that too doesn't work, try pasting the save to the original savegames folder. Good luck . They don't explain it too much. i have a different problem with the installation it says it disables RGSC but i still need to be logged in to play the game X.x whas the deal with that or am i putting the xlive.dll on the wrong folder because it didn't replace any file whatsoever Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You don't need to do anything with it. For me, I have xlive.dll installed, a save folder downloaded from this topic, and when I go in game, it says there are no save files present. Why is that?
